I ran in a frenzy with screams and shocks, and my footsteps hit the void, somersaulting off the terrace. That's when I realized that there is still a physical force that exists. Gravitation. Gravity pulls me down with tremendous speed, and the dark gray pavement below eagerly awaits my bloody battle. As if instinctively, a jet stream was pushed out from my abdomen, I screamed with all the remaining strength of my life.

"What... what's going on?" The three of them were completely petrified. Of course, the three of them were all well-informed people. They would not be at a loss just because some mud had landed on the ground. The reason for that was because of the strange terrain. If the soil at the slope could fall into this small hole, it was because there was a problem with the angle. The soil would follow the inertia and fall into the hole later. So, it was a little abnormal now.

Inside was a wooden platform with a rope pulley above it. She grabbed the rope that was incredibly long looped in a bin on the floor. “Don’t freak out,” she said before giving the top a good tug, and the platform began free falling. It actually fell so fast that they lifted off of their feet for a second, but with a sharp pull, it stopped. She began holding onto the rope this time as she tugged much more gently, feeding it up through the pulley, now a few stories above them. “Sorry! I didn’t remember it goes down faster the more people are in it. I’m usually alone.”

Naturally, Eli wanted to know why. And naturally, Ms. Cham was more than happy to explain. She started going into details. “With normal air, the feather falls slowly because of air resistance,” she said. “Without air, only gravity acts significantly on both objects. Gravitational acceleration near Earth’s surface is about 9.8 meters per second squared for all objects regardless of mass.” Then Eli asked why the value was so precise because, according to him, “9.8 sounds suspiciously specific.” Honestly? Valid question.

I used the opportunity to jump and there the wood which I had gripped fell in the direction of the matriarch head. Gosh!

Travis words were cut when a wood suddenly pierced through his leg as he was jumping from one trees to trees. "ARRRHHH! Wood?!" Travis shouts in pain and try to reach out to the wood on his leg to remove while he jumps from trees to trees, but he mistakenly stripped on a tree branch and fall to the ground after hitting his body against countless tree branches. Travis falls to the forest floor facing the ground, and was shock that a wood as large as the one currently in his leg was able to pierced through his leg without him detecting it as it flies straight to him.

The woods also has too many grown grasses that make it hard to run inside it. I stop and bend, so I can breathe to regain some oxygen when I hear a ruffle in the woods, but this time around, the one that caused it didn't hide. No, she showed herself, and she's levitating in the air. If someone says my jaw is on the floor, I won't hesitate to believe it.

I drop to the ground with a light thud and sprint straight into the spinning logs. I’d been watching the others. The logs don’t all spin the same speed—every few or so, they spin slower, probably weighted differently. I place my feet carefully, only stepping on those. It works, and I’m across without even a stumble. It’s all feeling a little too easy so far, and that makes me nervous.

I’m not even sure if my magic can lift him up or if I have enough, but I should at least try. “Hang on, Al. Don’t move.” Even though he was in his wolf form, I saw him raise his brow at me. “I mean…yeah, you get the point.” I tried to look around and saw a branch that was not far from him. I definitely cannot levitate him, so I need to at least stabilize his position a bit. I made the branch grow to support his weight, but I unfortunately failed to consider that moving the root would cause the soil to loosen. He started to slip and fall into the running water below him. I was frozen solid out of fear that I would not even move.
