She was the first Phoenix and guardian of the day. The Goddess Demeter was the protector of the forest and the growth of life on earth. It is said that many people started to worship and care for the forest so much they refused to leave. They were granted the power of flight with wings and powers to oversee all of nature. They were made the guardians of nature and became the first Faes. The God Oceanus was the protector of the water. Just as the people refused to leave the forest, people started living in the water. He granted them the power to breathe and live underwater to become guardians of the Oceans and rivers. These are the Sirens.
