" Whoever wrote this must have been the same person who wrote my name since they were both inked in by hand. I really knew nothing about prophecies or things of that nature, but I knew they existed and were usually foretold by a really powerful witch. I had so many un-answered questions as I flipped through the other pages in the book. There were images showing a witch preforming a spell on a wolf, and there were definitely some images depicting Selene, the moon goddess. One page was dedicated to Helios and a few other ancient gods had pages in the book too. Why were the Gods in my family book? As I flipped further the images got darker. Alessia's POV I have read the book. It was a typical old storybook that sounded very English and Greek. I cringe a little because what I'm reading sounds like Julius Caesar. It talks about Greek gods, especially Poseidon since Homer's journey travels the seas. I feel like I'm getting a headache reading it because it's a story but the writing is poetic. But I understand because the ancient people were poets. I am too used to reading normal English novels. I just focused my attention on the book because there was nothing else to read there besides this. Even though I'm not used to reading like this, I'm just patient because it makes me sleepy.
