Logan (Book 1)

Logan (Book 1)

"I'm making a deal out of it because his idiot little brother is why I stayed home from school and fell off a ladder with a sprang ankle." "You have what?!" Her voice rose high-pitched while Rex said those words in shock. My sister looked down at the ankle wrapped in bandages, then she glared her eyes at Logan, and I felt him wince behind me. In Greek Mythology, Athena was the favorite daughter of Zeus, with no mother, and was born from Zeus's armor on his forehead, which describes her to be fierce and brave in battle. She is known to be the Goddess of many things, including war. My sister cannot take on Logan, who is practically half her size, but she isn't afraid to hit him for hurting her

The Alpha King's Runaway Bride

The Alpha King's Runaway Bride

It was called Medea, written by Euripides and it was a good read in her quiet time. When Edward had wander-walked to her in the bathroom the morning of two days ago, one of the things she had spoken to him about was the book gift Mia gave her. Reading this book brought her closer to Mia, the amazing soul she was fortunate to have in her life. She prayed for her almost every day now at the temple for the moon goddess to keep her safe, and while she prayed for her, she also prayed for protection for her mate and his brother, the alpha king. It was the least she could do.

She is known to the elven community as GoldMoon. Previous generations of humans understood that supernatural beings existed, and they made up their stories of gods and goddesses to explain them. The Greeks felt that the Ceryneian Hind was sacred to Artemis, the goddess of the hunt. However, it was really the elves that treated GoldMoon like she was sacred. She has lived with us for many generations.

2nd story in the "next generation" of The Guardian series. This one takes a more fantasy twist but totally works. I was enthralled all the way to the epilogues which had me crying yet again. This author updates regularly & always concludes her stories. No worries about abandoned books with her.

’ Lola added. Sonya wasn’t super tired yet so she figured she would read a little out of the book she got before laying back down. She opened the large heavy book to the table of contents looking at what was contained in the book. One subject jumped out to her “legends of pendant powers”. She turned the pages to the chapter and started reading through it. The chapter made an indication to a pendant that was blessed by the moon goddess that sounded and looked a lot like the one she was given by the Alpha and Luna.

The Alpha's Whispering Pearl

The Alpha's Whispering Pearl

I heard dad's voice, and he came into my view through the darkness. "I thought you were a ghost." I joked. "I was going through some old books. Found the exact one I was looking for," he said, handing me over a thick book that looked around a hundred years old. "What is this?" I asked. "It's a legendary, secret book about alphas who didn't approve of Moon Goddess's selection of mates and who fell in love with another," he spoke. My eyes shifted to his, and he quickly looked aside. Then he started adding more facts as he paced around; "Moon Goddess is the goddess we believe in. Humans might not even know her, but she's our goddess. She knows the best for us, and I don't think it's a good idea

I feel your pain. I suffer from chronic migraines as well and know sometimes it is so hard to function in this world. All you can do is take it one day at a time. Taking monthly shots and daily meds to try to control them are no fun and I understand your pain. Just try to do your best, keep smiling

The Lycan King's Divine Goddess

The Lycan King's Divine Goddess

I began. That instantly captured their attention. Even Jiya looked at me curiously. "The four realms?" Abi asked. I nodded. "I’m not sure where I learned it, but maybe from books or someone told me," I said. They waited eagerly for me to continue. "These four realms honor the Moon Goddess. They are the Lycan Realm, the Vampire Realm, the Elf Realm, and the Siren Realm," I explained. The three of them listened intently. "The Moon Goddess resides in her Moonlight Sanctuary in the Celestial Realm," I added.

A Substituted Bride But A Fated Luna

A Substituted Bride But A Fated Luna

Damn! I have no intention of getting involved with her. This is my honeymoon with my wife, and I don't want these terrible things to ruin her mood. Just as we were leaving, "Nyx!" A strong male voice came from behind the shop. This woman is Nyx, the Greek goddess of the night. The name matches her mystique. Nyx glared at us and then walked to the back of where she had been sitting, where there was a closet. In the dim light, I looked carefully. There was a dark wool tapestry beside the closet. She lifted it and turned to us and said viciously:

Where Loyalties Lie

Where Loyalties Lie

That was the mantra of the average palace worker, especially under this Emperor Vasil: Don’t ask questions, don’t get killed. “What should we do? Everything looks so exciting,” Ursa exclaimed, looking at the bustling street market full of life. It seemed as though everyone was out on the town today. Cecily and Ursa passed by many vendors, stopping by an elderly woman selling tapestries depicting scenes from the Texts of Himalia, the Goddess of Writing and the daughter of the planet’s patron God Hypnotite. Legend says that the Goddess wanted to gift mortals more knowledge, and thus she created the Texts to tell the story to explain everything.
