The Shadow Howlers

The Shadow Howlers

There were still traces of the poison in the two women's hair and it made his hands numb. "Who made it?" Bianca asked. "Achlys. She's known as the spirit of misery and sadness, but she's also the goddess of deadly poisons. If I'm right and she made this poison, your trouble is only just beginning." Helios said. "No one likes to ask Achlys for help because she'll poison them just for the fun of it. If she's willing to help the sisters, then she has something big planned, and it could kill us all." Andrew explained.

The Alpha's Moon (Stories Beyond This Universe 1)

If she were being honest, Francesca still could not bring herself to fully trust Veronica. "Well, whatever." Veronica said, "Anyway, aside from Selene, there is also the goddess Artemis, Zeus' daughter. She's the one who drives the moon chariot, connecting the heavens to the Earth, bringing the light of the moon to the humans, and all that. Then there's Hecate, the moon goddess of the underworld. I mentioned her to you before." "Yes," Francesca said, but she was only half-listening. She was still waiting for Tristan to show up. "So, that's all? You’re not keeping any more secrets from me, aren’t you? I’ll be able to come back to Tristan."

THE ALPHA'S REKINDLED BOND

THE ALPHA'S REKINDLED BOND

The poison in her body was similar to wolfsbane, yet very different. It grew in my country, Greece, as a plant called Vok. It was an illegal substance sold on the black market. Only our kind in my country knew about it, and they usually carried it for protection. To avoid detection, they often mixed its powdered form with either metal or gemstones.Putting it on one's skin was harmless, but once the one who possessed the gem or metal rubbed their finger on it and touched food, liquid, or utensils, the poison got stuck on them. Whoever ate, drank, or used those utensils became poisoned. It didn't matter what kind of supernatural being they were.

Curse Of Wine & Belladonna

Curse Of Wine & Belladonna

Finally, she had gotten her fame back and that woman showed up demanding the informal contract they had made in the fall, but the woman didn't want the bastard to stay in her garden any longer to scare people, so she hatched a plan. Hyacinth took one of the black flowers from the woman's hair and entered the temple, asking some other women in the forest, she discovered that that flower was a black hellebore, a remedy that like any other became a poison. An illusionist poison, used by the ancient Greeks. A smile appeared on Hyacinth's face, she put away the flower and contacted Death, who laughed at the forest woman when she learned of the wretch's story. Hellebore was such a strong evil that

Preppy blonds who pretended to be goth were more my type. "If they aren't, then perhaps I can?" She replied, her voice filled with lust as she walked toward me, sashaying her hips, crossing through my fire. This. This is how I destroy her. She's forgotten that my mother is Persephone, a goddess so pure that her power alone cleanses the world of winter and brings new life. A demon of pure darkness, one such as this Medusa, wouldn't be able to get past my shield.

Cursed by the Moon Goddess.

Cursed by the Moon Goddess.

I could only cry. Just when I thought I was free. Perhaps they were right after all, I was cursed by the moon goddess herself. I wondered what wrong I had done to the moon goddess in my past life to be subjected to this kind of life. With pain, I stood up from the bed, putting on my clothes slowly. My bottom was throbbing with pain. I could hardly stand fully on my feet. I stared at the room for the last time in tears then I turned around. It hurt so much that I was even unwanted by everyone I came across including my mates.

But it is more commonly known by most as 'wolfsbane'. Rumoured to be so powerful that even the Gods used it. Athena used it to turn Arachne into a spider. Hecate is said to have discovered the poison and used it to k*ll her father. Roman emperor, Claudius, is rumoured to have been poisoned by his wife, Agrippina. Even a medical doctor, George Henry Lamson was convicted of m*rdering his brother-in-law, with the plant. See, it takes minutes to hours, to be certified d*ad, after being exposed to this plant and no one has ever survived.

The Huntress - Luna Eileen

The Huntress - Luna Eileen

“We are joined tonight by avatars of the tri-mother, our own moon goddess! Flidais (pronounce FLIH dish) be praised that they have chosen to join us!” Howls erupted from the darkness in response and my hand clamped down on Kiara’s eliciting a small squeak of pain. Flidais? He invoked Flidais, goddess of the hunt? I supposed that was somewhat fitting, though she was often depicted as being at odds with Brigit and Morrigan. As for Cernunnos, well let's just say he was often seen hunting Flidais

Desiree Glascoe
Normally not a witch/werewolf fan but this novel held my interest. The history research done by the author makes the characters more real. I’m really enjoying the suspense, surprise, humor and the love scenes are pretty hot and descriptive. Keep up the good work!

Very nice writing style. The author is able to portray scenes in a vivid way and bring them to life. I would suggest to keep the flow going throughout the chapter. If not possible then put the time skip in the next chapter.

The Reborn Game

The Reborn Game

It won’t kill him, but it will disable him. “Selene is using you,” Hera tells them, holding her own wound. “With us gone, there are only three who can take over. Helios, Enos, and Selene.” As the gods watch their children die at the hands of werewolves, Iris sees the fight leave their eyes. Poseidon catches her eye. Iris kneels and shows him the tube. “What is this?” Iris asks. Poseidon laughs, causing green blood flow from his wounds. “Ambrosia, mint, and golden pear. We call it the walking death. It is poison to us, but only for a short time. Di put it in the wine, didn’t he?” Poseidon smirks. “She won the game.”
