The Baron's Cold Proposal

The Baron's Cold Proposal

It felt a perfect fit and he had slept every night holding her in that position, nestled together. Felix also taught Athena further on Roman and Greek mythology, including pointing out the different types of nymphs that were sneakily hidden in and amongst the mosaics depicting friendly woodland scenes. These were beings who lived to tease and manipulate humans and gods, sometimes falling in love with them, sometimes chasing them to the ends of the earth to capture the man they wanted.

A wonderful story full of characters you love to love and ĺove to hate. I echo the sentiments around the ending but I'm relieved at the lack if true redemption arc (told you - characters you love to hate!)

Warning ends with a .... cliffhanger with no sequel. Great book overall by a talented author. I recommend it, and the cliffhanger doesn't ruin the book. It honestly do with a round of editing for character names being mixed up. This is one of the author's earlier books and is worth the read!

Is It Love? I: The Princess and the Hunter

Ha, there you go. "Alright. Let's get serious. Since Agape's a Greek, let's choose who's our favourite couple in Greek Mythology and elaborate it. You go first, Granny!" I giggled and wiggled my eyebrows at her. She hissed. She sipped to her wine glass first before answering.

The Peculiar Morass

The Peculiar Morass

Was it because of their plain-looking look or they are just too serious in their duty? "We're here. Stay here and I'll bring you back to the ladder. You should figure your way back from there." She watched him fade like a wind. She was just patiently waiting at the boat until he came back, this time he was with an old man's soul. They ferry back to the river of Styx. In Greek mythology, the River Styx is a god, a river that forms the boundary between the earth and the underworld. The rivers Acheron, Cocytus, Lethe, Phlegeton, and Styx converge in a large swamp in the center of the underground world, and sometimes this is also the case. According to Herodotus, the source of the Styx is near F

Unwanted Breeder For The Rogue King

Unwanted Breeder For The Rogue King

Draco winced at the thought of his father, King Cormac, who in history was now recognized as the Butcher but was once adored by Draco. He remembered the time he spent with his father growing up, as he taught Draco kingly etiquette, sparring, and alpha command. He made him memorize the names of the seven gods of Bloomington and their deeds as he led him through the temple. Draco particularly loved the story of Gharok, the god of creation, who was married to a beautiful damsel named Selene, one of his creations. The legend said that Gharok loved Selene so much that he made her the goddess of the moon.

In The Arms of Morpheus

In The Arms of Morpheus

My father’s eyebrow shot up in a horrified expression, his mouth twisting in disappointment. “Now, Callista. I know that all of these movies now days focus on Zeus and the Olympian gods and goddesses but you cannot tell me that you never paid any attention when I spoke to you and your brother about the other aspects of mythology. Greek mythology doesn’t revolve around the titans versus the Olympians.” my father’s voice went into his lecturing tone and I had to force myself not to zone out like I did under the usual circumstances. “I’m sorry I didn’t pay attention Baba, I truly am. Please can you teach me about Morpheus?”

The Billionaire Wants me

I was listening with rapt attention. "In Greek mythology, Aphrodite was one of the twelve Olympian gods, and she was often portrayed as a beautiful, seductive woman. She was associated with a variety of symbols…” as he spoke, I paid rapt attention to every single detail. I was already taking a mental note to read more on Greek mythology during my free time. As my gaze drifted back to the painting, I noticed the name of the artist written at the edge of it, “‘John William Waterhouse,’ Interesting.”

LUNA: The Invisible Princess (Book 1)

She smiled at me with a relieved expression on her face. Combining all their heavenly presence, I felt intimidated at the same time, in awe. Who would have imagined that I would get to meet the legendary gods? For some reason, my heart skips a beat while looking at each one of them like I have known them my whole life. It’s weird to say I feel at ease with their majestic presence. What baffled me was I recognized them all. There was Apollo, Hera, Athena, Ares, Aphrodite, Demeter, Dionysus, Hermes, Poseidon, and the high and mighty—Zeus—who was seated in the center.

"At the time of the great flood shifters stayed in their animal form and survived the flood the destruction, but God decided he had to create beings that could help him make decisions on what to do with the world he had created and made Hera, the goddess of woman and child birth, Poseidon the god of sea and Athena goddess of war and wisdom.

He said and I laughed. "It's Zeus, let me explain, it's pretty interesting if you pay attention." "Oh no, please," Mac pleaded and reached to cover his ears but I held him down and laughed. "There were three immortal Greek gods. They were all brothers. Their names were Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades," I started to say, remembering exactly how it was in my notebook. "They were the sons of Kronos, who was
