Greek Mythology Novels & Stories

"Trace the exact maternal lineage of the Ethiopian King." "Write a 500-word theological breakdown of the Primordial Chaos." All around me, the elite Awakeners of Class 1 are scribbling furiously, treating this like basic kindergarten math. I, meanwhile, am staring at a violently blank screen. My entire knowledge of Western mythology comes strictly from Marvel movies, Disney cartoons, and unhinged internet memes. If he asks me about Thor's abs or Hades's sassy flaming hair, I'm covered. But the messy, obscure family trees of ancient Greek deities? Not a chance.

I could only cry. Just when I thought I was free. Perhaps they were right after all, I was cursed by the moon goddess herself. I wondered what wrong I had done to the moon goddess in my past life to be subjected to this kind of life. With pain, I stood up from the bed, putting on my clothes slowly. My bottom was throbbing with pain. I could hardly stand fully on my feet. I stared at the room for the last time in tears then I turned around. It hurt so much that I was even unwanted by everyone I came across including my mates.

Alexis bit her bottom lip as she struggled to restrain her tears. "I know. It pains me as well" Ray sighed in frustration as he hugged his wife. Her trembling shoulders and sniffs were a clear indication that her tear ducts had failed her. He looked up at the night sky as killing intent filled his eyes. He would make them pay for this. The ones that had separated their family. His father's clan. The Greek Pantheon! On a major world, high above the clouds was a mountain. A mighty mountain that caused all who cast their eyes upon it to feel awe and fear. That mountain was the home of the Greek gods, Mount Olympus!

Jessica stuttered. Yuri smirked at Jessica’s stunned expression. “Who do you even fucking think Persephone is?” Jessica’s eyes widened at the codename of the informant who had given her the information on the Phantom XIII of Hati. “Persephone is the name of the companion of the Goddess of Witchcraft, Hekate, in Greek mythology.” Yuri smirked at Jessica’s stunned expression. “That’s right. I am Persephone. You really should have done your research properly. I allowed you to get that information on purpose.”

Thorne pointed out, "but it's like having another identity with memories and a life of its own. My hound allows me to see his memories at times. I know that he was a guard of Tartarus." At this, Julian's head whipped in Thorne's direction with interest, "As in the prison of the underworld mentioned in Greek Mythology?" Thorne nodded, "You'd be surprised how many myths actually hold some facts to them. The place is reserved for the supernaturals that are the worst of the worst."

Now it seems not to be the case. Thinking through her, she begins to tell her good friends about what Olympian gods might have. “Well… According to the legend. I know that they should have many monsters and beasts in control. Also… they should have a lot of goodies such as The Golden Fleece, Golden Apple, Aegis, Achilles Armor Etc.” Aurelia tries to list the artifact from the Greek Myth then she notices that it’s quite a long list so she brings out a tablet from her storage ring and starts to type all the lists as much as she could think of along with their abilities.

Poseidon said. I just watched as they exchanged words, who was I to meddle anyways. If Eros loved Artemis then that was definitely a game changer. Suddenly, Artemis's gaze snapped towards Poseidon. "Well, while we're at it, Hayley, do you know Poseidon was once married to a sea queen?" Apollo said "Huh?" Sea queen? I guess I didn't know the full details of the Greek mythology. Suddenly, his face changed as he grimaced, hurt and sadness covered his expression.

It’s as if I don’t want to wake up from the dream I can make use of as an escape against the cruelty of the human world. But of course, the fact that this place is also dangerous for a mere human like me brings height to my fears. Especially since I just received a death threat from one of the most powerful here in Olympus. Speaking of powers, Professor Damaris told me that there is Seven Caste of Powers here in the Olympus, wherein people were ranked based on the level and contribution of their powers to the Olympus.

James flicked his eyes back and forth between Eliza and Blakeney as the man paused dramatically. “Thetis,” said Blakeney, grandly. “She is a goddess of the sea. A lieutenant of sorts to Poseidon, but more commonly associated with calm and tranquil waters.” “That’s right,” he said, remembrance flooding to him. “Achilles was her most famous son.” Blakeney nodded proudly at his pupil. “Correct.”

Ares said, while scratching the side of his brow. "Why? How did you say that?" She asked curiously. "Well, I just thought about it right now. You already know, right? That our names are from Greek mythology. " She nodded at what Ares said. She had known that for a long time because she asked Zeus. "Oh, I know what Greek Mythology is," Astraea said, raising her hand. "It's a Greek culture, uncle Ares?" Astraea said, smiling. "Yes, it is Astraea," Ares said to her daughter, "but did you know that Ares, Selene, and Zeus are gods and goddesses in Greek mythology?"
