The Veil Of Time

The Veil Of Time

'I bet there are thousands of mythological books' I thought, I looked around as much as I could while Hades carried me. ''You love books, don't you?'' He commented as he weaved his way through shelf after shelf of books, following Lachesis. ''No, just mythological books,'' I replied ''The underworld is the source of all mythological books and stories.'' Hades huffed. ''Are you not serious?'' I asked in disbelief. ''Do you know the myth of Cerberus?'' He asked. ''Of course. He's the Greek hellhound. It's one of the most famous myths'' I replied.

The Sons of Hades

The Sons of Hades

Bob’s tone was sarcastic. Lex looked up, “I have – what have you got on Hades’ sons?” Bob produced a folded piece of printed A4 paper and handed it to Lex who snatched it hungrily. He folded it impatiently. “According to G****e, Hades, who is also known as the god of the underworld had three children, Zagerus, Macaria, and Melinoe. The first is a boy while Macaria and Melinoe are girls. Now if you’d ask me, I think this information is irrelevant. Nothing concerns Greek mythology with Nigerian homicidal maniacs.”

Promised to the Tyrant

Promised to the Tyrant

“This goes several millennia ago when humans first came to be. Apart from animals and your flora and fauna, the earth was also inhibited by beings called the ‘Old Gods‘.“ “Old Gods?“ “Yes, the old Gods, or what mythology calls the Titans & Olympians. You have surely heard of them, Zeus, Poseidon, Ares, and the list goes on. These Old Gods were deities of unique elements that represent nature and life, like Poseidon was the God of Sea, Ares was the God of War, and of course, Zeus was the chief deity amongst them, the God of Sky and the atmosphere.“ My head is going to burst. I can’t believe we are talking about Gods & Goddesses. I want to believe Avo, but can this all be true? But one look at

The Lycan God

The Lycan God

Emotions had run wild between now and then; excitement, disbelief, discontent, rage, and now a thoughtful silence pervading the four walls like a thick blanket that lulls her back to the bay of sleep’s arms. Avian dips the feathered tip into the glass bottle and carefully lowers it onto the page where she had left, just beneath the grotesque sketch of an original Lycanthrope she had attempted whilst still in the throes of energy. “… Average of ten feet tall, five hundred pounds of muscle and fur that is impervious to the war instruments of man.” The high priest stands at the front left, his cheeks like emptied udders that tremble with each breath, “tapetum lucidum…” highly sensitised night v

The Palace of the Twilight Pack

The Palace of the Twilight Pack

I never believed that Zeus was the father of Aphrodite, until I was able to sense his presence yesterday. The whole place was quiet as fuck to the extent that none of them was even talking They were all paying attention to what the prince was saying. They had never had many stories about Zeus the father of Aphrodite, so therefore, since the prince was able to know much about him, they will pay attention so that they will know the type of blessing that the gods gave them all. Delivered To The Alpha King

*The Greek Mythology of Nemesis* Nemesis was the Greek goddess of vengeance, a deity who doled out rewards for noble acts and punishment for evil ones. The Greeks believed that Nemesis didn't always punish an offender immediately but might wait generations to avenge a crime. In English, nemesis originally referred to someone who brought just retribution, but nowadays, people are more likely to see animosity than justice in the actions of a nemesis.

Asterion

Asterion

I sighed, rubbing a hand over my face. He cocked his head, looking at me strangely. “What?” I asked. “Why did you say it like that? You put Poseidon above Zeus. No one does that. Zeus is the King of the Gods. He is placed above all.” he explained. “I exist because of Poseidon. He is the one that gifted the bull who would sire me to Minos. He is the one that cursed my mother with lust for the bull after Minos angered him. So it is the God of the Sea who set into motion my creation.” I explained.

Such an interesting & sweet twist to the Minotaur's story. Loved it! Asterion was so well depicted & emotionally drawn. The ending & epilogues were just so heart touching. I was very moved by the ending. Thanks for a very lovely, moving story.
