Demon Kings Queen (book two)

Demon Kings Queen (book two)

*Mt. Olympus, Greece* "Thank you so much polyagapiménos" Thaelia exclaimed as the nymph finished filing her nails, leaving the moon princess with a perfect manicure. Eliza, the nymph smiled in response and parted with a bow, after taking her basin of filthy water with her. That's the thing with people working under her, they never uttered a single word, which she never understood. Why was it so forbidden for them to talk with her? Just a friendly chat?

Just want to cry. It’s been months since part 1 ended and all we have is 3 chapters of part 2 so far. I’ll keep checking back though, won’t start reading it until it’s almost finished, can’t stand being left hanging on a chapter and San’s books are all so awesome you get addicted.

Persephone: Leonidas' Domina

Persephone: Leonidas' Domina

The bird looked at her now as if it was considering going to her but Circe did not seem to like that before he flew over to Leonidas and sat on his head. Immediately, Kleopatra woke from her nap, letting out loud hisses as Fani stood and took the kitten away, patting her behind. "There there, Tiger." "What is that on my head?" Leonidas asked, not daring to move a muscle. "A Phoenix," Persephone answered. "They are birds that can be used for transportation or lifting heavy objects and their tears heal wounds. Another thing about them is that they burn up and turn to ashes then are reborn," Then she faced Loukas "They are extinct. I am sure this was Poseidon's creation, yes?"

Hale Academy: University of Sui Generis

John asked as he stood up from where he’d been writing something on the floor, with chalk. “Rare, but then again rarer still are the demons and gods”, she muttered, “The common supreme beings happen to be chimeras, Kitsune, Hydras, Medusa, Kraken, a lot of nymphs and sirens, a lot of Greek mythologies if I had to be pedantic. Oh! Your homeroom teacher Mr. Edwards is a Leviathan, and his wife is a siren I think, we’ve had the first werewolf too; The Beast of Gévaudan and Fenrirs too, a Minotaur and Basilisks. I personally have known three different Basilisks”, she listed as she tried to recall the different Ascendants she’d met. “I thought if one existed, another Ascendant of the same kind co

The Devil's Fire

The Devil's Fire

He gave me a soft smile, making me return a shy smile. “You know, in Greek mythology, Althaia was the Queen of Calydon, and a woman of fierce passion. She is celebrated in an ancient story about the fate of her son, Meleager. When he was born, the Moirai, or the Fates in English, came to foretell his future, and they predicted he would die as soon as one of the sticks in the fireplace burned out completely. When Althaia heard that, she pulled the stick from the fire, put the fire out, and hid it in a safe place.”

Caught by fangs

Caught by fangs

Some were brown and some white. It all made sense to her, birds were melodious singers. According to Ovid's book of metamorphosis V, Persephone had three human companions who tried to save her when she was taken by Hades. They prayed for wings to fly across the oceans and was granted by the gods, but when they couldn't save Persephone, Dimitri banished them on an island. Back to the fight, Dracula got to his feet after drinking the blood of the werehynas ruler. Blood dripped from his mouth and he wiped it with the back of his palm.

His Mate: The Dragon King

His Mate: The Dragon King

Athena glanced at Alaric with tear-filled eyes, “Forget the ceremony, Alaric, quickly, mark her. Mark her immediately.” “What is going on?” Alaric asked. “My, king, she-she” she pointed at Mariah with a shaky hand, “she carries twin eggs.” “What?” This time, everyone was in an uproar, for twin eggs were a legendary omen in the dragon land, one that happens every one hundred thousand years. A guard rushed into the throne room then, not giving anyone the time to digest the new information they had just heard. “My King,” the guard cried, “the gods, they are attacking.”

The Vampire King

The Vampire King

Having become saturated with moisture, the wings became too heavy to lift, and she had to ask Kyrian for help, and then dry the feathers on the balcony until midnight. Ilyana did not stop looking for a way out of the situation. A short explanation from the Oracle on the origin of wings helped to understand at least a little what was happening. The girl had encountered references to seraphim before, but treated it more as a figure of speech. Now she needs to find answers, the only way she can defeat her enemies... or at least escape...

The allies also dashed Soheila's direction. The six birds summoned their spirit beasts and that shook the enemies. A silver wolf, a fennec fox, 2 golden lions, poisonous venom butterfly, and two four-winged rocks. The parents of the baby four-winged rocks had agreed to let Sirene and Hector be the master of their babies just a few days ago.

In The Arms of Morpheus

In The Arms of Morpheus

I was about to probe some more when two little arms crept their way around my waist from behind and I was hugged tightly. “Dareios! I’m so glad you brought Callista with you this time!” Cassia cried out, turning to him and giving him a hug. His features softened and he lifted the child up onto his shoulders with ease. She buried her fingers in his unnaturally black hair as if it were silk and stared down at me with her large eyes. “What are you talking about?” she asked, her eyes seeming to pierce into my soul. “Just about Icelus and Phantasus, little one.” Dareios replied before quickly changing the topic to some nymphs who had decided that they were going to try and bathe in the river Styx

Obsession

Obsession

“Iris, open your eyes. It’s okay, it won’t hurt you.” Gabriel whispered near her ear, reassuring her. Iris slowly lifted her eyes. They widened instantly in shock. Five huge winged beasts were flying in the sky, with a terrifying presence suggesting they were high-ranking creatures. Iris was stunned by the sight. She turned her gaze toward Gabriel, who was smiling at her calmly. He answered her unspoken question: “These are Phantom flying beasts from an ancient lineage, a symbol of our empire.” He looked toward the beasts that landed on the ground waiting for his orders.
