Then he stepped back, selected a new brush, and dipped it into the viridian green. “The cold of the gesso,” he said. This time, he used the flat of the brush, slapping a broad, wet swath of chilling green across her lower belly, where the bucket’s contents had first hit her. The shock of it made her flinch, a reaction that pleased him. “Yes. That recoil. That is the color of violation.” He painted her breasts with the same green, but in a softer wash, making the peaks of her nipples stand out like islands in a cold sea. Then, his eyes darkening, he mixed the green with a touch of black on the palette, creating a murky, depthless shade.

I was too absent minded to listen to their introductions. "Green is timeless, bold and very beautiful..." Just like my Eve. "It is the perfect color because it compliments every other color right there, it flatters almost all skin tones and would stand out when pictures are taken. Pretty sure, it would pop beautifully with the runway lighting. Lastly, green is associated with wealth, luxury, elegance..." And it reminds me of someone very close to my heart. I throw on my jacket, and Susan pops a question. "What shade of grey is that, though?" I am on the verge of replying to the famous movie fifty shades of grey, but I stop myself. "This is mink. It goes well with green and black." "I honestly don't know how you do it, girl," Susan mutters. Her eyes are coated with slight admiration.

I stared at my hand, flipping it around in front of me, seeing nothing out of normal. “It’s a subtle color that radiates off our skin.” He took my hand to make me stop, “You will see it too when you try hard enough.” “Everyone can see it?” I asked, “How do they do it?” “Like all things, it takes practice. Not everyone can see it.” “What color am I?” I still stared at my hand in his, trying hard to see any kind of color. “A light green color.” He said without hesitation. “Green?” I asked wrinkling my nose, “Cal’s right, I am an alien.”

Julia asked. “Yes.” Copper confirmed with a humble smile. “Then I think I’ve gotten a better idea of what you’d like. I’m thinking we could go with something lime green. It would really bring out your skin tone! Do you have any suggestions, Mr. Greenland?” Her words snapped me out of it. I opened my mouth to speak, but then I heard Mandy heading this way.
