Miss Gray’s Vengeance

Miss Gray’s Vengeance

She looked little to nothing like him and the lady who just walked in was a copy-and-paste version of her father. The lady stepped forward, bowing her head before them. “Hello everyone, sorry for interrupting your meal. I’m Genevieve Brent Gray.” “What is your name again?” Mr Gray rose from the chair followed by everyone else. They stood, frozen in shock. “Genevieve Brent Gray.” Noah groaned. “Say that name again and I’ll make sure you won’t be able to say a word in your whole life.” “I’m sorry, you are?” She looked him over, her eyes glinting at his sight. “Oh Mr Hank, you’re here.”

The Luna Surgeon

The Luna Surgeon

Grey. The name hit her like a punch to the chest. It was familiar. Not from her past. Not from the trauma. But in a strange way, it fit. She hadn’t asked for his name. And yet, hearing it now… Grey. The color of twilight. Of ash. Of the space between light and dark. She didn’t realize she was gripping the clipboard until her knuckles turned white. “Keep monitoring him,” she said quietly. “Page me if there’s any change.”

How To Love A Murderer.

How To Love A Murderer.

“It’s not safe. We’re leaving. Now.” Ian yanked his hand away. “We have to check!” He turned and ran back toward the cabin, ignoring Zhedya’s angry call behind him. He pushed the creaking door open. Gray was on the kitchen floor. Not moving. A dark, wet stain was spreading across his chest from a single, neat hole. A knife wound, right to the heart. The blood was still fresh, pooling on the dirty linoleum. Ian’s breath caught. The world tilted.

Satisfying the billionaire (mxm)

Satisfying the billionaire (mxm)

I said. “So,” he said simply and pushed the door open. I followed him in. Grayson pulled a book out. Read the back. Put it back. Pulled another. I watched him. “This one,” he said. Holding it up. I read the title. A novel. The kind with a character on the cover looking at something just out of frame. “What made you choose it?” I said. “The first line,” he said. He opened it and read quietly. “He had spent so long building walls that when they finally came down he didn’t know whether to feel free or exposed.”

ALMOST PERFECT

ALMOST PERFECT

Grey walked until his lungs burned. The city was just waking—vendors pulling shutters open, gulls screaming over the docks, fishermen pretending not to notice the man moving too fast with his hands clenched into fists. The ocean air cut sharp and clean, and he welcomed it. Pain was easier than thinking. Because thinking led him straight back to Lisa. You don’t get to drag me through hell and then ask me to erase the consequence. He stopped at the edge of the pier, gripping the rusted railing until his knuckles whitened. Below him, the water churned endlessly, dark and indifferent. It didn’t care who survived. It didn’t care who broke.

Lurking in the Dark - Book 2

Lurking in the Dark - Book 2

Fool," I hissed and then made my way to the man who in the meantime had managed to get on his feet, but was still able to avert his gaze from the Candir's carcass. Yes, even if there have been many people who have already had bad encounters with proles, there are still some who have so far been spared. And the way this man looked, he was probably one of those lucky ones - well, he had been until today. I walked over to him, leaned forward slightly, and studied his cheesy face. “Are you okay? Have you been hurt? " His gaze flicked to me and then back to the corpse. His tongue twitched nervously over his lips. "No," he said, shaking his head. "No, I ... everything is okay." "Are you sure? What Page Are You On, Mr. Male Lead

What Page Are You On, Mr. Male Lead

They looked like they are talking about something good seeing their laugh. My father had a rare slight smile in his eyes as he looked at that blonde haired youth beside Keab. 'That must be Varhen.' Seeing his blonde hair the same as mine, I thought he's my cousin the butler was talking about. 'Not bad.' Beside him was a man with a greyish black hair and his eyes are the same color as his hair. This must be Greyson. In the novel, the author always highlighted the pair of his gray eyes and greyish black hair. His eyes were slightly upturned which made him looked like a playboy and a decent con-man in suit.

Auctioned Mates Revenge

Auctioned Mates Revenge

I struggled to laugh, “Who are you calling old man?” He steered me into a seat and forced me to sit. I sucked in painful breaths around the pain in my chest and as usual, Greyson said nothing. He was dark for a northern wolf, much like my Grace had been. Instead of a golden undertone, his skin had a reddish tint. He was as broad and as sturdy as any of my nephews had been before they’d been murdered. I hated that he was here to simply keep an eye on me, keep me functioning, but I know that I’d be dead by now if not for his presence.

It’s not for everyone because of the dark parts of the story but I couldn’t stop reading it after getting over some parts that made my skin crawl & cringe. There were some incomplete sentences which were annoying. Thought it could be longer to make it more complete at the end.
Esby Zucca
Great story. There are some heavy chapters to get through so if rape, sex trafficking or abuse are triggers for you then skip this book!!! If they aren't triggers for you then I highly recommend this book. I agree with other comments that the incomplete sentences were annoying.

Blood and Darkness

Blood and Darkness

He has disappeared from my brain over the years and I never thought I would see him again. With so little I walked, I didn’t know why I was gasping for breath to finally get out. My system began to calm down when I saw who's waiting for me there. Playing the finger on the alarm of his BMW, Kirk looked up at me. He smiled when he saw me. "Are you okay?" he asked. "Why?" "You look like you just saw a ghost." Yeah. I saw a ghost. I guess this is the time when I say that life is really unpredictable. Imagine, coming out of the pit, being able to come back?

The Unexpected Mate

The Unexpected Mate

The man says trying to move back in the chair he is chained to. “Grey has a knack for looking in to people minds. He has this ability that has only grew over the years. He is going to look for the woman in your mind so we know who she is.” I tell the man as I lean back in my own chair relaxed. I watch as Grey walks behind the man and puts his finger tips to the man’s temples. He closes his eyes and watch his finger tips glow a light orange color before it stops. Grey’s eyes shoot open as he looks directly at me. He starts shaking his head as he let’s go of the man’s head and steps back a few paces.

I really and truly LOVED this book. Yes, the ending was unexpected. Everleigh is too powerful and should be mated to only one fae mate. Or a fae/werewolf one. Grey and Zayne weren’t able to appreciate her. Actually, no one was able to appreciate her true self. I’m relieved she left them all.
Laura Wallinger
this was a GREAT book. I loved it the entire time. But the ending sucks. please tell me you left it like that to write a sequel if nor please add 1 or 2 chapters that say what happens to them all. like dies Eve make a new better life for herself? does Grey get another chance to be happy?
