When Xander was about to exit at super speed, Griff boldly grabbed him by the side then used his entire weight to lift him from the ground and they both tumbled and rolled. Griff had Xanders head pinned under his arm while his legs held Xanders body motionless.

Gina's voice was laced with concern and at the same time anger. I chuckled weakly and set my gaze at Xavier who was still dealing with Chris mercilessly. His face was not one to be pictured at the moment, blood was all over his cloth and Xavier's fist dripped with blood. Xavier stood over Chris battered face and I winced at the sight, my chuckle fading into a concerned frown. Xavier's fury was palpable, his movements swift and deadly. Chris's cries grew weaker, his body crumpling under Xavier's relentless assault.

Grace shuddered and tried to move to the side when Xavier slammed his arms on both sides of her head making her flinch. Fat dollops of tears rolled down her cheek as he leaned dangerously closer to her face. "What Xavier wants, he makes sure to claim it." Xavier breathed on her face making her quiver in response. Grace couldn't even describe the amount of fear she had for him. He wasn't some normal guy. The man didn’t even hesitate and killed cops, the protectors of justice in a snap.
