I'm mortified. "I'll love every minute of protecting you from yourself," Blaze said as he chuckled and spanked my butt cheek. I hurried off to the bathroom as fast as possible and did my business. However, when I looked at myself in the mirror, I was anything but beautiful. The scar that goes from my hairline to my temple stared back at me mockingly, and my hair; I fell asleep with wet hair; it's a mass of curled-up tangles. I grabbed a brush and started pushing it through my hair quickly. Oh my goodness, mortified isn't the word. I couldn't go back out there like this. I was halfway through when Blaze knocked on the door.

It was center parted with a fishtail braid at the back, lovely and elegant, but. “Remind me of Princess Fiona from Shrek.” Then, they tried the next one on me. It was a blue one, short and stylish, with little soft spikes at the back and side, cool and refreshing, but... “Sonic.” They tried the third one on me. It was a green one. I don’t want to comment anything about it, but just... “Have you heard of The Grinch?” And finally, they wore a better one on me. It was in dirty blonde, wavy, the length stopped at my waist, and the fringe was perfectly trimmed to my eyebrows.

Keagan asked rhetorically, his tone tinged with sarcasm. "No way, bro! I'm genuinely looking out for you. Trust me, most of those other brands are just cheap imitations, loaded with chemicals you definitely don't want in your body," Blitz explained, raising his fist and waiting for Keagan to reciprocate with a fist bump. Keagan reluctantly obliged, but his initial impression of Blitz didn't sit well with him. It felt like Blitz put on a show for others, attempting to conceal his obnoxious nature, but failing to do so effectively.

She tried to comment on the polish, but the lustful energy coupled with the pot led Pam to giggle nervously, "Oh wow, I'm not used to being stoned, everything seems so, ah, funny." After unscrewing the cap, Beth started to had it to Pam, along with a new brush, but as per her well-rehearsed plan, paused to say, "So, maybe we should take a little break, we can go into the bathroom and use the hair dryer to finish drying out our hair, and see how the makeup looks under the bright lights, okay?"

She took a deep breath and leaned into her headset mic. “Mr Sterling,” she said, the sound feeding directly into the tiny earpiece he wore. “Try to focus on your routines, don’t look at monitors and pretend we’re not even here. It’s just you and your…” she glanced at the ingredients, “...blueberry antioxidant blast.” She felt an instant cringe at her own forced perkiness. The blender suddenly started to malfunction and whirr loudly. William tapped the lid, shouting something over the noise just seconds before the lid burst open, spilling purple liquid all over William’s face and everywhere around him.

Zoom. Mr. Zoom was what my older sister Lena and I called the fake hairbrush that our daddy had given us when we were young. He gave us each one without saying a word. “Mr. Zoom’s Adult Hair brush” it said on it. The handle was shaped like a smooth dick that hit her and my ‘g’ spot perfect. It vibrated with batteries too. _Zephyr’s POV_ The bathroom mirror was fogged up, but I could still make out my reflection through the steam. I sighed and reached for a towel, wrapping it tightly around my wet hair. Even without looking too closely, I could see it. The honey-blonde roots were back. The brown dye was fading again, and fast. It wouldn’t be long before the true color comes up.

“Oh my god, Max. She’s so hilarious.” Max groaned. “Stop, guys.” I buried my face in my hands. “I am not ... I’m sophisticated!” The car erupted again. “Sophisticated, yeah, right! Toothpaste opinions, wow! What’s next, Charlotte? A lecture on socks?” I peeked at Max through my fingers. He was trying not to laugh but failing spectacularly. Then one of them leaned over. “You guys, seriously, don’t bleach your hair. Not after last week’s disaster.”

If I had money, I would have never done any of these. That means only one option is left. I close my eyes and take a deep breath to gather all the guts inside me. My heart pumps fast for what I am about to do. I can do this. It's just hair. They will grow back. Focus on the money. Freedom. It’s not even a week since I bleached and dyed my hair blue. I was so happy with the color and texture as it made me look like a species from Pandora. An Avatar Princess.

I say before slipping into the bathroom and closing the door. When I get out of the shower I groan. My room looks like a salon threw up all over it. There are hair dyes and hair products all over my vanity. I cringe at all the makeup too. How much makeup can one person wear? I mean, I was all about wearing makeup, but I tended to keep it simple. Two hours later, I have been exfoliated, buffed, plucked, and waxed. Bren put strong smelling stuff in my hair and told me to trust her. My hair was re-washed, and I wasn’t allowed to look in the mirror.
