With our knowledge, and our physical limits solidifying in their final forms, we can then push our essence. The storage and reserves of our will. Our desires. Our goals. Then understanding what we are. Who we are. All that we wish to be.

The way he said it wasn't indulgent. It wasn't impressed. It was analytical. But it felt like approval. "You won't stay small," he said. It wasn't encouragement. It was certainty. My power is called chlorokinesis, which is the ability to control and manipulate all vegetation. It a powerful gift and there are few limitations. I can move trees and plants with my mind. I can also manipulate them to grow exceptionally large very quickly. I can turn a seedling into a full-grown fruit bearing tree in minutes. I can also sense the trees and roots speaking to each other.

I offered to help, which mostly meant watching her work while pretending I had anything to contribute to the layout choices. "You’re hovering," she said without looking up. "I call it observing." But one caught my eye. "Growth is less about climbing and more about deepening your roots." I read it aloud. Leah looked up slowly. "That was my grandmother's favorite saying." "She sounds wise."

He found greedy people like them absolutely disgusting. What they wanted was just a shortcut to the top. However, the truth was, there were no shortcuts. Whether it was a family or a business, growth would come step by step. Growth came from building things the right way, not from latching onto power and hoping for miracles. They all knew that deep down, but they did not care or respect the process. They only wanted shortcuts, without the work. Kaze had no interest in lecturing them, since people like them would never listen. Even if his status made them respect him, they would never heed his words. None of that was ever going to work out from the start.

They will tend to view the world in a more spiritual way rather than physical which in a way is a preparation for the unknown. The mind can be a scary place at times for those tunnels lead to different destinations and from each path there is a hump of some sort. I believe true growth lays within discovering your self for it sure is easy to cling to someone and feel as if you've maintained a form of growth just to, later on, learn it wasn't yours. A man does a good deed and keeps on doing good because it makes him feel good. Let us say he was to feel bad for doing good, would he keep on doing good? Or would he simply invest his efforts elsewhere?
