One is dark brown, almost black steady and assessing while the other is lighter and blue bright like the sea. His eyes look so ethereal like it shouldn’t exist on that gorgeous face of his. Staring at him throws me off for half a second, just long enough for my brain to stall and freeze as I gap at him. I blink, because my mind tries to correct it comprehend. "Pinch your nose, or I'll do it for you—" I can't help but smile at his immediate reaction. His fingers instinctively pinch his nose, and his forest-green eyes narrow. I hold his jaw and guide his head forward and slightly downward. I can sense his gaze fixed on me as I examine the bridge of his nose. From what I can see, the break isn't obvious. His nose isn't visibly crooked, but it's swollen. The skin around his eyes also shows signs of reddening, indicating the start of bruising.

His eyes never leave mine. His hands slowly lift up and both thumbs come towards my nose. What is he doing? I just told him it hurts to even touch it. His thumbs gently glide against my nose on either side. I flinch, expecting to feel pain but instead feel a slight tingling, not in a painful way, actually felt kind of nice. Slowly his thumbs glide up and down the outside of my nose, meeting in the middle at the top. His thumbs move from the bridge of my nose, sideways to the middle of my cheekbones, and back again. It's such a simple motion yet it feels so amazing and phenomenal. His eyes never leave mine and mine never leave his, no words are spoken as we carefully watch one another.

Seeing Carwyn sitting down next to her, Grainne felt sorry for herself and quickly said. "Don't cover, come here, Grainne, take your hand off, let me see." After saying that, Carwyn pulled Grainne's hand that was covering her nose, saw her red nose, and knew what had just happened. "Touched the nose??" Carwyn said sadly. "Yes," Grainne nodded, "It hurts!!" The eye sockets were filled with tears. She just dreamily went to the washroom, but who would have thought that the door was made of transparent glass, she just bent her head to enter, touching her nose, it hurt!!

There's a knock on the door. "Chloe are you okay?" Rene asks and I quickly move into the bathroom to splash water on my face surprisingly I don't feel pain in my brain or my jaw and I've stopped thinking about hurting people. I look at my face in the mirror and I almost shatter the mirror with my hands when I see someone I don't recognize staring back at me. The person looks like me but I don't think she is me. For one, she has pointy ears, and large teeth, and she looks like a wolf. She also has bright golden brown eyes, the same as Nathan's.

He growls and lunges at me faster than I can see to react, getting me clean in the face. His fist feels like a rock against my face and I grunt at the awful sound of a bone cracking. I stumble back but catch myself before I fall, hands quick to cradle my profusely bleeding nose as I maintain a wavering glare at him who works his jaws to rid the pain in his face.

Its leave-less branches is bent in a way that provides some kind of shade on a big hole in the ground. I squint my eyes to help clear my vision and move slowly towards the hole and that's when I see it too. ********************************
