Guard Me Sherlock Mikah Novels & Stories

“But I need this. I can’t lead if I’m treated like fragile glass.” Something in my voice must reach him, because finally he exhales and nods once. “Don’t leave the pack borders,” he says. “I won’t.” “And come straight home before dark.” I smile. “I promise.” The relief feels like fresh air in my lungs. As I pass through the entrance of the pack house later, I spot Micah standing near the gates, speaking with two guards. He looks thinner than before, shoulders no longer bowed under chains and guilt. Our eyes meet.

Zel's POV Alpha Micah and I couldn't see the Healer because she was on her meditation grounds and we couldn't interrupt her, Alpha Micah got tired and left, taking the convoy with him. I stayed back hoping that I would get to see the Healer. Getting a call from the chief guard I knew something was wrong, there must have been an attack for him to call me. Wondering his reason of the sudden phone call I accepted the call. "What's wrong?" I inquired, trying to figure out what his words would be.

“Meaning you have not seen him?” “Yes. I hear he is young and a hybrid but I’ve never been able to confirm it but if you say Lea is focused on stopping this new world you wish to create, it’s possible she is already with the guardian of the second key. Find Lea, find him; simple explanation.” Micah said as I frowned before I folded my hand. “I was hoping to kill her after I had the third key.” I said as Micah chugged down the alcohol in his cup.

“Ali is doing great, but Micah is driving me nuts. He’s like a crazy helicopter father─ always hovering around her. I found him putting foam on the corners of our end tables the other day. He said because he didn’t want Ali bumping into the sharp corners. I told him that she’s only three months old and won't be walking for a while, but he won’t listen.” A genuine chuckle escapes my lips at her perturbed words. I can definitely see Micah doing those things. He’s unquestionably a candidate for an overprotective father. Ever since Sophia found out she was pregnant, he has been super vigilant. I guess considering the business he’s in, he’d have to be. You see, Micah and the others are all Assass

A small sound escaped Shaina’s throat, something between a laugh and a cry. “A guard? I don’t think you have to go that far. I think it’s a little late for guards.” Miah leaned over the teenager and brushed her forehead with her lips in a small caress. “You are so silly, young lady, to think it is too late for a guard. You are beautiful and unique, a rare treasure. I intend to guard you and keep you safe for all time. There is no need to have idiot reporters breaking into your hospital room and questioning you.”

"No! No. Celine, you can't do this to me. You're just a lucky whore being noticed by my boss, you think you're worth a lot. No matter what you do, you're just a whore." Annie knew that she couldn't change Celine's mind, so she screamed, yelled, and cursed Celine with dirty words, but the insults didn't last long. A few minutes later, Annie's screams were gone. The bodyguard came in, he held a small plate in his hand, his face was cold like his owner's, and there were some blood stains on his face, he put the plate down, then he said. "Celine, this is Annie's tongue, she fainted."

“Misha, one of the men guarding the door, have reported her safe passage toward her van.” “Copy,” Julian said then cut the connection, but his mind was in turmoil. Why hadn’t he seen or heard Sia come towards the van? He couldn’t have been that distracted by Abhay, could he? He immediately shook his head no. He then checked Sia’s van but found it empty.

another added from the crowd. While the guards were distracted, trying to contain the murmurs and the now growing crowd, Mike melted into the background, fingers dancing on his tablet—hacking fire alarms rerouting cameras with efficiency. Dave moved closer, shielding me from my blind spot, his eyes never leaving the guards. I leaned in to Sienna and whispered. “Now cry.”

I apparently must have missed his mind linking while I was getting treated by Doctor Bryant. “Colby and Azriel have been notified and are prepared to be Beta Sarael’s guards. Colby is at the packhouse waiting for your arrival. Azriel has gone to watch her home in Eugene.” Mikali bowed his head. I blinked. I was getting guards? I don’t know how I feel about that. But John said Mikali is one of Aurelia’s guards. So that means I can’t claim he’s assigning guards because I’m human.

After being assured that it was just me, only then did I slowly and gently open the door. Actually, I was waiting for Gunner to make a fuss the moment I started opening the door. I mean, he's a bodyguard. He’s got good senses, though they're kind of failing him when it comes to me, but his door being opened in the middle of the night was something he will never not notice, right? But what I was waiting for did not happen at all. No one was making a fuss, no one was surprised, and no one was questioning me about what I was doing. In fact, no one was inside the room at all.
