The High Priestess shrieked, stumbling back, her ethereal body burning where the light touched her. “I am the First Moon,” I commanded, my voice rolling like thunder across the collapsing spirit realm. “I am the mother of predators. You do not hunt my pack. You do not touch my mind. And you never threaten my children.” I lifted my hand, building a massive, crackling spear out of concentrated starlight, and I drove it straight into her chest. I retorted. "You know her as your mother because your father wanted you to think of her as your mother and forget about me. But this is the truth; you are my daughter," she came closer, and now I could see her face clearly. "High Priestess?!” I know her. She was the High Priestess of the Moon Goddess temple. "That's right. I am Thalassa, the High Priestess," she said, smiling. I am still confused as the High Priestess wouldn't lie to me. But what she was saying was hard to believe and if I trusted her words, it would make my whole life a lie.

She turns her gaze to Maddox, bowing her head as she greets him, “Alpha King.” Maddox nods in greeting, but his mouth is a tight line. I can feel the tension in his body–tight as a bow string. I will not be interrupted again.” She spat with an iron voice but her expression was still as calm as ever. There was a moment of awkward silence in the room, with the councilman and priestess staring at each other.

I just didn’t know when the end would come.” High Priestess Owlyn walks toward Imogene. Her feet are now on the floor, and another blue tether is wrapping around her body. The High Priestess starts to softly chant while touching Imogene’s forehead. Imogene’s head flies back, and she screams out with purple coming from her eyes, ears, and open mouth.

How could she be so dumb to not recognize the descendant of their coven leader? She closed her eyes and gathered her magical abilities into a ball. And then she turned it into a pill. “High Priestess, please let my Cover leader aka Future High Priestess eat this. She has a trial protect her,” she said as she handed the magical pill to the high priestess. The High Priestess know what her coven member was about to do. She didn’t stop. She just took a few steps backward and watched the show that was happening in front of her eyes.
