Guts Griffith Novels & Stories

I exclaimed wide-eyed. “I baby goat you not. Now tell meeeeeeeeeeeee…” She added a whine to her tone. I felt an uncontrollable grin stretching on my lips, and that didn’t go unnoticed by her because she jumped on top of me, then started shaking me by my shoulders violently as if all the words would just start piling out of me. “Jesus, Crystal. What the hell did Professor Griffith do to you?” “It's Griffin. Duncan Griffin.” I corrected looking her through my lashes, and oh my. How I wish I didn’t.

Nox whispered my name as though it were a plea to the goddess herself. “He—He jumped in front of your mom.” Dad’s voice was thick with grief. “She’d be dead if he hadn’t.” I stopped hearing him after that, tripping and stumbling as I raced my way to Nox’s side. The ground reached up and grabbed me, dirt and stone digging into my knees, but none of it mattered. Oliver Griffin lay on the ground, propped up against a slab of stone. His arms were wrapped around his midsection, holding his organs in his body. There was no blood left in his face, only ashen skin and eyes too wide—too bright against the dark backdrop.

However, I can’t stop myself until I burst into the room where I can feel the traitorous bastard. "Son of a..." I growl, taking in the sight in front of me. Laying on the floor in a puddle of his own blood is Griffin. His torso is cut open and splayed out, showing all his organs and bones beneath. His eyes are glazed and blood seems to be leaking from them instead of tears. But that isn’t the worst of what awaited me. On the wall straight ahead was a message written in blood. Three words, just three words that sent rage and fear crashing through me.

Whatever that thing was, but how were they connected? My visions of Grisha were painful, they were draining, and they were chilling. But my vision of the burning bird was calm, peaceful, and utterly soul-fetching. But why did it scream Grisha? Because I heard it, I heard it loud and clear and I knew it screamed Grisha! What in the hell was Grisha and what did it have to do with the burning bird? For an umpteenth time ever since I set my foot in Varagrafena, I laid awake at night, filled with nothing but questions, and more confusion!

I asked. “For the rest of your afterlife.” He turned to the screen, which was now filled with Griff’s smiling picture. “Now, let me give you a run-down of Franklin Griffiths. He is chronically fickle. Combine that with his appetite for women, and you have a wolf who cannot remain interested in a relationship for more than a week.” Hades fell silent, letting those words sink in. My gaze dropped to the table. I hadn’t even managed to keep him for two days.

His keen intelligence was evident in the incisive timbre of his voice. Gloriana’s stomach growled, and she picked up a sandwich from the plate and forced herself to chew it. It was beyond her that she should feel such a strong physical reaction to someone who clearly couldn’t stand the sight of her. And it was getting a bit hard to put it down to stress and anxiety. Griffin ended his call, dropped the phone into his pocket, and stalked to his desk, gripping the high back of his chair as he studied her with relentless intensity.

Griffin could hear Howard's concerned voice. Griffin's internal organs were a mess at that moment, having suffered internal injuries. There was a burning pain in his back. His brother's voice had pulled him back from his muddled thoughts, and he barely managed to force himself to sit up. He saw Howard a few dozen feet away from him, looking at him with concern and widened eyes. The people around him were also shooting him uncertain looks. Just as he was about to say something, a red glow landed on his body, indicating that Griffin had failed.

He rolled his eyes at Johnny and said, "Yeah? Then what are you waiting for?" Johnny sighed, and Grandpa just rolled his eyes again. "I'm Markus Gravano, grandfather of this dickhead." "I'm Alessia," I said shyly. "I know exactly who you are, my child," he said, looking at his wife with a smile. "Come on, let's get something to eat, shall we?" Clarissa said, much to my relief.

"Please listen to me. Those beings are truly... idiotic. Just calm down and follow my instructions. Trust me." The green being infront of her started to grunt. It spoke of something she couldn't understand. ❇❇❇ The orc had just finished swooping down the last soul from the gas station. He and his comrade, Schnek were incharge of this whole area. As he was about to walk forward, he saw a figure slumping down a few steps away from him. "A normal!" "Lucky me," he thought as he licked his lip. "Another soul added to my capsule."

Way to make things worse, Grif, I thought. "MATE!!!? WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU MEAN, MATE? WHO IS THIS?!" Chance demanded. I grabbed Griffin's hand to calm him. "This is Griffin, future Alpha of the Savages Pack so you better calm your ass down and show some respect." he snarled. I heard Chance gasp at the news and there was silence for a moment. Then I heard growls and crashing that seemed to last forever but actually probably only lasted a few minutes. Finally, there was silence again and I heard Chance take a deep breath.
