I felt my strength—the years of training, the Highblood vitality, the very will to maintain my posture—flowing out of my pores like cold sweat. My muscles felt like dry leaves, brittle and hollow. "Barzil!" Viggo choked out. I looked at the Berserker. He was shrinking. His massive muscles were deflating in real-time. His red eyes were dimming to a dull, muddy brown. He fell to his hands and knees. He retched—a wet, agonizing sound of bile hitting stone.

A thunderous wolf howl shook the air. In the distance, clouds of dust rose as a massive wolf pack came charging in. "Supreme Snow, this is Berserk Wolf Tribe. They carry the berserker gene, capable of unleashing 120% combat power. We selected the most aggressive, unrestrained wolves to form a 100,000-strong Berserk Wolf Troop. "Flamingo Air Troop and Berserk Wolf Troop await your inspection, Supreme Snow!" Gideon smiled broadly, turning to the champions and saying sincerely, "You've done exceptionally well. I owe all of you—every mech warrior and every killer tribe—a deep debt of gratitude. Your efforts have made it possible to build this formidable force in such a short time."

The earth beneath her feet darkened, appearing to be on fire. A rhythmic shockwave erupted and spewed noxious gas into the air. A razor-sharp crescent slice spread into the air, illuminating it with a neon brilliance. The sword stroke struck the beast in the chest, pushing him away from Creed. She appeared right next to Creed and pulled him up from the ground. "How long does your berserk skill last?" She asked, "5 more minutes! then i'll probably pass out!" Creed answers, "Yours?" "6 minutes!" Grisha uttered, "Hmm… so… Truce?? until we escape this?"

Right now, the most my body could handle is one single punch. "However, of you decide to forcefully take us out, we'll stop holding back as well. Thus, I won't hesitate to stack my second berserk skill too!" "Your second berserk skill! Is that support to scare us?"Grisha smirked as he gazed at him boasting non stop, "You're pretty arrogant for the leader of a unknown party!"

Griffin's battle form was the body of a man and the head of a bull with cleaved hands, making his punches deadly. “That is so cool. She also told me about other shifting breeds, but I haven’t met any other than a few panthers, tigers, and a lynx.” Bee was more excited now than when she was talking about her bike. Griffin sat silently listening to the she-wolf. His bull snorted in the back of his mind. I like her. She isn’t a pretentious bitch. His bull said as he stretched and walked closer so he could take a closer look.

“Don’t let me catch you here again or anywhere near my team. Got it? General Abtez.” He glared at me, his eyes flickering ice blue again. I did not need him to go into a rage in my camp. I met his gaze and refused to back down. Berserkers respected strength and power, so I refused to show weakness to them.

Berserkers were already inside the outer wall, fighting hand to hand with garrison wolves. "North wall." Rhea shoved a shield at Serna. "They're coming over heavy there." Serna ran. Her leg still hurt from the spear wound but she ignored it. Got to the north wall just as three berserkers came over the top. Cut the first one down before his feet hit stone. Second one got her in the shoulder with an axe, she felt it bite deep. Spun and opened his throat anyway. Third one was huge, had a morning star that whistled past her head. She ducked, came up inside his guard, drove both knives under his ribs.

Rippling black fur coats thick muscle, his shoulders rising and falling with every breath. He doesn’t look at me. He keeps his gaze locked forward as low growls vibrates from deep in his chest. When the Berserker lunges, Cain meets him in mid-air. His jaws snap around the Berserker’s throat and I hear the sickening crunch of bone. In retaliation, the beast’s horns lash out. I watch in horror as one gashes Cain’s shoulder, while the other spears his side. Snapping out of it, I reach for my Berettas, but stop when pain suddenly tears through my back. My body lurches sideways, a sharp gasp ripping from my throat as my knees buckle.

Stuart turned to glare at me furiously like I were some hysterical woman making a scene. He scolded, "Veronica, look at what you've become! What's the point of throwing a tantrum now? What's done is done!" His cold words made it sound like my grandfather, Alfred Gallagher, was just dealing with a common cold and not waiting for brain surgery. I stared at the man I'd been married to for over a decade, feeling my heart sink drastically. "Have you forgotten how Creed Group was built from the ground up? Have you forgotten it was Grandpa who took a knife for you when you were kidnapped? The wound from then still hurts from time to time for him!
