Dear Alpha, You Are Not My Type!

Dear Alpha, You Are Not My Type!

I did it. I fucking did it! A crackling sound filled the air. Eric went silent. I gritted my teeth and poured everything into the heat, forcing it out, pushing it toward the metal. The smell of burning filled my nose. Then… Snap. The chains gave way. For a second, I just stared at my hands, at the broken links hanging loose. Then I moved. I lunged for the wall, digging my fingers into the cracks, climbing before my body could betray me again.

Becoming the Demon Alpha's Bride

Becoming the Demon Alpha's Bride

These weren’t ordinary chains—they were built to stop people like him, so breaking them wasn’t going to be easy. Blood dripped from his hands as the steel dug into his skin. Still, he kept pulling, letting out a guttural roar. Finally, with one last burst of strength, the chains snapped, clanging to the floor in pieces. Not wasting a second, Hunter grabbed the door handle and yanked it hard. The lock shattered, splitting clean in two. Behind him, the SWAT team stood in stunned silence, their jaws practically on the floor as they watched Hunter’s display of strength.

Origins: The Luna City Trilogy

Origins: The Luna City Trilogy

I didn’t do anything really… how is this possible? Suddenly fuelled on excitement and inquisitiveness, I tighten the left chain around my wrist once more and pull on it more persistently with a much stronger force than I did before. To my delight, the heavy snapping sound of metal bursting open erupts into the air along with the broken link. Staggering backwards, my back hits the wall behind me as I’m taken by surprise by my own newfound strength. Without needing to think about it, I grapple with the remaining chain clasped around my right wrist and repeat the same action – successfully freeing myself from the heavy restraints binding me to this prison.

How often is the update on this book? It says on the title “Trilogy”, are there 3 separate books or 3-in-1? Coz some authors include Books 1&2 on 1 book altogether before declaring it as Completed. I just want to know if this 93 chapters now is still far from being Completed and I have to wait long

Antiquarian's Precious Find

Antiquarian's Precious Find

Turning to his companion prisoners, he said curtly, “I’ll be leaving soon. Are you going with me? Or are you getting out?” “Wait—what?” the drug addict stammered. But Nick ignored him, instead positioning the links of his chain carefully around the floor hook that limited his movement inside the back, leveraged his full weight against it and with a hard kick, broke the welding. “Holy crap!” the second prisoner hissed. “No man. No. You go. We’ll get out. We don’t need no more trouble.”

Shattered chain

Shattered chain

We slipped through the shadows, keeping low. A single warehouse stood at the far end of the yard. Lights flickered inside. Someone was there. I pulled out my knife. Michael grabbed my wrist. “We don’t even know how many there are.” I shook him off. “Then let’s find out.” We crept closer. Through a broken window, I saw them—three men, all armed. And in the middle of the room… Carter. Tied to a chair, blood dripping from his temple. My stomach twisted.

Chains finds his anchor

Chains finds his anchor

I was working the late shift for awhile but I was changed to mornings about seven months ago and that is when my life got interesting. The days were blending together with seeing the same people and doing nothing new until I started working breakfast and lunch at the diner. I first seen him a month after my schedule changed and I have seen him most days since. I know he belongs to the local mc by the vest he wears with their logo but I have never really spoken much to him. He is the most gorgeous man I have ever seen in my life and I want nothing more than to speak to him but he says the bare minimum when he orders. I was lucky when I found out his name is Chains and I feel that fits this ma

A Mate for the Mafia Alpha

A Mate for the Mafia Alpha

However, he could hear them clearly. "Set me free, grandfather." He said, weakly. Immediately, Bryce moved closer and touched the chains. He tried to break them with brute strength but nothing happened. "What the fuck!" He exclaimed. The chains were not thick and they didn't feel strong but Bryce couldn't break them. He then stopped to think that Roman could have easily broken the chain but he was still bound. "What do you think is going on here?" Bryce asked Nate, with a frown on his face.

Darkest Desires

Darkest Desires

Annoyed, I slammed the picture to his face, throwing his head back and smashing it into the wall. "Fuck you, Lewis!" he growled. I punched him in the face. I felt his nose breaking under my fist, making him yell harder. "Don't be such a crybaby," I told him unemphatically. "We're just getting started." "I will kill you!" he started thrashing, pulling his arms incessantly but to no avail. What was he thinking anyway? Those chains were made of thick, solid metal. Even his ankles were chained to metal spheres, making it impossible for him to lift his legs.

Mated to My Enemy: Tamed by the Tyrant Prince

Mated to My Enemy: Tamed by the Tyrant Prince

he breathed, “two…three!” I pushed my frame forward with all the strength I had left, and I felt it snap back when he pulled in the other direction. I strained forward, the chains groaning in disapproval until finally, the chains snapped. The links scattered across the floor like the shards of glasses from a broken bottle. I rubbed my entire arm where the chains had dug into before pushing off the ground to my feet. I stared around the dark room, there wasn’t really much light for me to see where Drew was.

Fated to My Brother in-law, The Lycan King

Fated to My Brother in-law, The Lycan King

To them, I was just another body heading toward the front. That was exactly how I wanted it. After Elias left and he'd made sure to let me know about my predicament, I'd, of course, tried using spells to break the chains. It only bounced back, so I'd gone the humanly way. I broke the bones in my fingers till it was like jelly, then squeezed my hands out of the chains, making it in time to follow the last truck leaving. A man across from me shifted, gripping his weapon tighter. “You feel that?” he muttered under his breath.
