I hope the ladies slow down sometime soon. I head to tables two and five that I am covering tonight and place the respective platters down. The elderly gentleman and table two thanks me and asks if I can bring him an herbal tea when he has finished eating. The guy on table five gives me a wink. What the fuck? Who does he think he is? Okay, listen he isn’t exactly bad looking with his tatts up his forearms that have veins popping all over the shop and a tight navy T-shirt showing that let you know underneath are some serious pecs and abs probably on abs. But seriously, winking at me.

Not only did he book us a table, but he booked the table: Lumiere. Before we head inside, someone calls out Elijah’s name and the both of us turn to see who it is. I look up at him and frown when I see his expression soften at the sight of a beautiful blonde woman. He lets go of my hand and walks over to her, kissing both of her cheeks before chatting to her softly. Her eyes flicker to me, and she smiles when she leans into him and whispers in his ear. He chuckles, shakes his head, then kisses her hand and waves goodbye.

Lucas taps me on my shoulder, "Hey." I turn to him and see he's holding a glass of pink champagne in his hand. He already finished the half, I take the glass from him. "What?" I sip the drink, looking up at him. "Who is the guy beside the food table? The one with sexy, black hair?" He lowers his voice, twisting his fingers.

Hyene pulled out a chair and sat on my left. Across from me, there was the man with dark skin and another man with red hair on his right. The beautiful woman pouring drinks continued her work then took a spot at the end of the table. “Elana, how are you feeling this morning?” The man at the head of the table questioned. Not sure if it was genuine concern or not, I mumbled, “Fine. Thanks.” Reaching to my own mug, I took a sip and was surprise when chocolate melted into my mouth.

When the dinner ends, the partners leave in black cars, waving their goodbyes, many directed at me. I’m glowing. Actually glowing. This is actually happening. Dominic waits beside me inside his Matte black Rolls Royce. “You impressed them,” he says quietly. “I was just trying not to embarrass my boss” “Miss Mane, you couldn’t. Even if you tried.” My stomach tightens as he moves closer. Then he gets too close. Close enough that he looks carved from something forbidden. “I’m hungry,” he says. “Oh. Should we… go back in? Order something?” I ask.

His eyes darkening even more something dangerous flashing across them as he stared at Raphael like he wanted him gone immediately. The shift in the atmosphere was so sudden it caught me off guard. Was that jealousy? The thought startled me badly. Still, I forced out a small smile anyway. “Hi.” “Alright.” Adrian stepped sideways almost immediately, blocking Raphael’s line of sight toward me without even trying to hide it. “Time to go, Cupcake. Work calls.” I watched him begin putting on the suit slowly, the soft rustle of fabric filling the quiet room while his eyes remained fixed on me the entire time.

The closer I get, the more I notice how good-looking they both are. Both look to be my age or a little older. The guy on my left has dark hair that is cut and styled into one of those faux hawks. He’s got a piercing in his right eyebrow, and when he turns his head towards me, I notice a ring in his left lower lip. There’s a table over in the far corner of the room, and I notice that everyone sitting at it looks gloomy and grumpy, especially this one big guy wearing overalls and a white T-shirt, which I find a little strange because everyone else is dressed a bit more formally. The servants show me to a seat next to Mark, so I lean over and ask, “What’s up with that guy?” I try to casually nod over toward the corner table in a way no one will notice, but when I look up, the big guy is glaring at me. I glare right back, and he finally averts his eyes.

I notice Gabby tensen in her seat and then she begings to discharge the aura of discomfort. I begin to fundle with my hands under the table. I keep looking around at people who are busy eating in silence and some who are done with their.. Food.~honestly, how are they consuming this!? I keep looking around till my gaze again falls on Desmond who is apperantly done with his meal and was resting majestically in his seat his metal dancing between his fingers. His gaze is glued to me. Goodness knows for how long he had been starring. He doesn't seem to care that I know he is starring as he doesn't avert his gaze. ~What's up with his over priced attitude anyways!?
