The men nodded and got to work while the others shifted into wolves and darted back into the woods to find their comrades who had been wounded by the beast. Moon's call approached his cottage which was close to a hill at the other side of a narrow stream flowing down into the river at one part of the forest. He walked across the board bridge he had made over the stream to get to his own side. Although he would have easily sprinted through the stream if he was in his wolf form but he didn't really fancy getting wet when he was in his human form.

The forest was cloaked in darkness, the canopy above blocking out the light of the moon. Ariston stood alone, his red eyes piercing through the night. The soft rustling of leaves and distant calls of nocturnal creatures were the only sounds, until a series of footsteps approached. Ariston’s senses sharpened, and his lips curled into a vicious smirk.

But the words cut. “Let it be recorded that the Alpha Moon has gone beyond the call of blood and bond. She has merged the Spirit Flame with the Lunar Core. Should she fall, may the tether call her soul back to its rightful vessel, no matter how many lifetimes it takes.” Beneath the statement was a smear of blood. Her blood. Her signature. And beneath that, a single line of prophecy: “When the moon is fractured and the red eye returns, she will rise again, unfinished, unyielding, unforgiven.”

Cilyna gave her a look that dripped in fear as Kaynon say down beside her and took her hand in his. "Whatever it is, the kids will be safe. I will give my life to insure their's will continue." Kaynon mind linked Cilyna in an attempt to call her racing heart. "Alright, so what is this ominous prophecy?" Cilyna asked. "We are directly desended from the first chosen of the moon goddess. The only wolves to know of Kyrie and Dante. The moon goddess told them when all species joined as one again, all the gods and goddess's would return to the earth and it would be the end of existence as we know it." her mother spoke slowly after a deep breath.

Maybe the gods think I look pretty this way. A gasp escaped me as I turned my neck to get a better view. My fingertips brushed against a beautifully intricate design that adorned my skin. It was a crescent moon, its delicate details awash in an array of enchanting blue shades. Stars, each unique, encircled the moon like constellations painted by a celestial artist. At the edge of the crescent, a pitch-black wolf stood, head thrown back as it howled at the moon. My mate’s initials are written below the mark.

========= Aurora was quite surprised by her sudden appearance. Even Vdius was quite stunned because Moon Goddess do not show up to them unless it's something crucial. Genelia and Alex were surprised, but they immediately took a few steps back as the Moon Goddess walked near Aurora and Vdius. Finally, she stopped in front of them with a slight mysterious cold smile because there was no one who could ever read her mind. But both of them can roughly guess that it's definitely not something good.

Zeke stood tall, his body pulsating with the borrowed power of the Moon Goddess. The surge of energy coursing through his veins was like a torrential wave, amplifying his strength and fortitude to unprecedented heights. He marveled at the newfound power, a blend of gratitude and determination welling up within him. "Incredible," Zeke whispered to himself, his voice tinged with awe. "The Moon Goddess has blessed me with this extraordinary strength. I must make every moment count."

"Kenji Miyoshi..." I squinted my eyes, fully aware of who he was. Kenji Miyoshi was one of the members of the Miyoshi Clan, one of the aristocratic clans, who worshipped the Moon Goddess and the other deity they claimed as the Fox Goddess. He was also the new Alpha of the Moon Garnet pack. Kenji wore an intriguing smile on his lips. "Well, well, if it isn't Kasumi Azai, the daughter of the former Alpha of the Red Sun pack and quite the disgrace to the Azai Clan," he remarked with a mocking tone.

Liam asked. His father sighed. “According to what we could get out of the younger son before he fled was that the venom was almost euphoric. It made him feel like he was indestructible, like he could do whatever the hell he wanted without consequences. We think the venom is almost synonymous with cocaine or meth. That’s why we imagine the younger son did what he did. We were trying to take him away from that...euphoria...and he wanted to stop us.”
