          His Dead Luna

His Dead Luna

Inside, the shelves were lined with ancient tomes and scrolls, and the air was thick with the musty scent of old books. "Excuse me," Hannah said to the librarian. "We're looking for information about a woman named Marcelyn. She may have some connection to recent attacks on our village." The librarian looked up from her desk, studying them with her piercing gaze. "Marcelyn, you say? That name is not known to me. But if there is any information to be found, it will be in the restricted section." "The restricted section?" Rajan repeated, his eyebrows raised. "What's in there?"

A Crown of Halos (book 1 of the Angel series)

A Crown of Halos (book 1 of the Angel series)

“There is a ball being hosted this evening and The Daemonium requests you to begin preparations. He will present you to the society this evening.” I look up to see a shimmering silver wraith. Stuffing the papers into my dress pockets, I close and haul some of the books before scurrying up and racing out of the library with the wraith in tow. ___________________________ The Daemonium POV “So it is with great honour that I introduce our newest member, Miss Kimberlee Mylean Ashyver.”

Daddy's Issues

Daddy's Issues

Instead of questioning it, Cho lets Halo lead him to a startlingly clean, spacious library fit for public consumption. High walls, arched windows, and a view of the city through a ceiling to floor area, raised like a dais at the front. Cho's eyes widen. A whisper floating from his mouth. Cho Jin: Holy fucking shit. Halo Abdel: This is one of my favourite parts of the villa. Private, soundproof, and has a history dating back to many lost eras through books and even newspaper reports. Separate from the floor-level library of course. Halo gestures to the left, where a corner is erected with glass and wooden accents. Displaying years of newspaper releases, magazines, and rolled replicas of docum

“Beware the librarians who gave sight for sound. Tread quiet and swift, or you’ll never be found. What you seek and what you need are two very different things. Let the Library take control, and see what it brings. Knowledge is value, which must be protected at all cost. To pass through these doors, is to risk becoming lost.” ‘Another poem.’ Rayna groaned in my head, ‘I’ll take another poem as long as we can shift down here. I hate not being able to come forward.’ “Well—that was beautiful, and terrifying.” Helena sputtered, somehow managing a shaky smile. “So, these librarians, are they monsters?” I must’ve been getting better since my last confusing riddle, because these librarians sounded

hello the novel is good. A 2014 interview of Kim Chiu and Kris Aquino on Kris TV went viral on social media in 2020, and resurfaced as a meme this 2021 The now-defunct ABS-CBN talk show showed Kris repeatedly asking “Because?” after Kim’s every answer, which she couldn't finish because she was cry

Absolutely loving this book and I 100% understand its not the only one being done but just wondering if there gonna be more consistency with updates? I flew through it, and now it seems like its taking ages just for 1 chapter and then waiting another while for another one. ADORING THE STORY THOUGH!!

A Queen Among Blood

A Queen Among Blood

So far all of my research is leaving me with nothing but carpal tunnel from how fast I’m scanning through all this brail. I get up from the sofa and return the book I was reading to its rightful place on the shelf, then go up to the next floor and run my fingers along the edges of the shelf to read each book's code to find the one I want. Once I do, I take it to the centre of the library where a 4-foot podium resides. The podium is made with magic so it’s the only thing in this library I can see. I place the book on the podium and watch as the podium begins to pulse with a lemon-yellow glow as that same colour surrounds the book, outlining it and making it visible to my eyes. Once the pulsin

Another amazing story in the A Queen Among series! The characters are amazing, with such depth. The author has such a well thought out mythology, with very thoughtful and thorough explainations, and really pulls you into her universe. I can't wait to see where this story takes us.

This is by far my favourite series! I laughed, cheered and bawled my eyes out. Each book gets better and better and the way each one is connected to the others blows my mind. I'm already itching to find out what happens with Isolde in the next book!

She said jokingly as she threw him the key. He unlocked the restraint and stayed still, unable to move because he knew it would be pointless to try and attack her, much less try to run away. He looked at her, eyes stared widely at the half filled glass with no ice. His eyes moved past her tired eyes and studied the room. The shelf that was at his right was filled with books that were arranged according to the genre and most of them were fictional, thriller and horror novels whose seal hadn't been opened and only seemed to collect dust. The others were based on psychology, anatomy and various poisons. He felt more anxious than before.

Reborn: Not Your Wife Anymore!

Reborn: Not Your Wife Anymore!

Lucy Hale I approached slowly, my footsteps light against the carpet. When I peeked through the gap, my breath caught. Elias Ward. His jacket folded neatly on the chair, sleeves rolled up slightly. He was pulling out old volumes and stacking them on a nearby table. He looked focused, flipping through pages and repeating the same with other books. My heart felt restless, eyeing the empty hallway, hopeful that no one came. What was he doing in the Hawthorne’s library room?

HALFBLOOD LUNA

HALFBLOOD LUNA

Her body hadn’t stopped shaking, her skin clammy with sweat, and her breaths shallow as if she were trapped somewhere deep inside a nightmare. Then I noticed it. A soft glow began to rise from her chest, subtle at first, then brighter, warmer. My brows furrowed as the source revealed itself: the pendant she always wore. It floated, weightless, just above her skin. The light it cast was golden, pulsing like it had a heartbeat of its own. I blinked, unable to look away. Was this... magic? A relic? Something ancient? My heart pounded as questions raced through my head. Who exactly are you, Lyra?
