I was kicked out of the moving car without warning and sent crashing onto the ground hard. The sharp pain sent a wave of dizziness through me. Even so, I stumbled to my feet, instinctively popping my dislocated hand bones and kneecap back into place. I then slowly made my way down the familiar path I'd walked countless times before. I still needed to return to the Sanders residence to retrieve something. Compared to what I'd felt in the past three years, this little bit of pain couldn't do anything to stop me.

"You love dealing with this hand, right? I'll make sure you never deal again for the rest of your life!" Cesar leaned against the bar, lit a cigar, and watched coldly with interest. Liliana raised the chip case and brought it down hard on my right hand. Pain shot through my hand. I felt the burn through my entire arm. "Ah!" I screamed in agony. My body convulsed, and cold sweat soaked my back. Darkness crept over my vision, and a high-pitched ringing filled my skull. Just as I was about to pass out from the pain, the phone Liliana had snatched from me suddenly rang.

I never even imagine I would end up meeting a girl once, a strange one. All I know about her is her name, a non-specific address, her music, a subject she hates the most, and a habit. She has this weird set of cards she said her brother gave her before leaving her and went to college. I never really understand how she played it because 2 or more people played most cards. Those cards she had can be played alone. I thought that it was just like some tarot cards, but it’s not. All I know is that she has something she called “pieces,” and that’s when I realized she had played certain people around her hands, and that includes me.

Uri waved his hand to struggle, but the man soon guessed his intentions. He reached out his other hand to grab Uri's hand, then pushed Uri's body against the stone wall behind him. In one quick, fluid motion, I tighten my grip on his hand, turn his hand over and with my right hand, slice the pad of his thumb with my blade. I then quickly press his thumb down onto the card leaving a bloody thumbprint behind.
