Besides, even though the author was a dumbass, it’s a pretty cool story.” Cyrus nodded, “it is, right?” He winked at me. “But don’t fucking worry. I’ll die first, so I’ll let you know what it’s like.” “Don’t make jokes about that!” April said, slapping Cyrus’ arm, who pretended to be more hurt than he actually was.

(Harper’s POV) “I’m sorry, what now?” I stared at Harry, dumbfounded. He flicked through some more pages of the book and then turned it to face me. I apprehensively looked down at the book. The page was titled “Bloodline” and there was a picture of a wicked-looking blade down one side. The writing was a little faded and handwritten, but despite all that, it felt so familiar and I could read it, like it was something I had read a thousand times before.

The sun was out, and the weather was beautiful. A contrast to the storm brewing inside the house. I signed and leaned against Mum’s grave as I continued reading Harry Potter and the Half-blood Prince since it had been one of her favourite books when she was alive. I hadn’t been a big fan of books and only read because of Mom. I read about seven chapters before I got tired, so I closed the book and lay down on the well-trimmed grass beside her grave. It was the second time I burned myself with my cup of tea. I had recently bought it when I discovered an internet store about literary articles, and I instantly fell in love with the Harry Potter-themed cup that only required the coat of arms belonging to the book when it was filled to the top by a smoking liquid. My son's name came through my mind as my fingers moved over the title of a thick, navy-bound book that was labeled, "Phenomena in Half-Blood Heirs." I knew that I had found something large. I did not even hesitate as I pulled it off the shelf, sending a cloud of dust that circulated in the air that made me sneeze. I opened the book to have a knowledge of what was inside. The script was ancient, the letters were formed in a way that made them so hard to read at first, but I adjusted my eyes.

"And now, Harry, let us step out into the night and pursue that flighty temptress, adventure," the ancient wizard (Albus Dumbledore) says in chapter 3 of The Half-Blood Prince. * M E Y W A N G | The Asian Potterhead It was at dawn when I was awoken from my slumber. Knowing that even one small thud could wake my mom up, I left my door slightly open and walked to the kitchen. Since I could not go back to sleep, I might as well wake up now. I opened the drawer on my right and grabbed a yellow mug with flowers painted on the front. With the mug in one hand, I went to the sink and filled it with water. I gulped the water down in one go and put the mug on the kitchen counter.

Well, it was a good thing I already know the story, I have read it about a hundred or more times. Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. What could be better than all the fantasy, action and thriller all in once? Trying to concentrate onto the words of the book and let my imagination disrupt my thoughts, I didn't even realise I managed to walk straight into something hard and strong. I gasped as I was almost knocked out off balance.

My magic is hissing in protest, clashing against the foreign magic that is so dark it had my throat run dry and my eyes waiting. I pull back the curtain, my brother's tired green eyes smile up at me. He was dressed similarly to Riven in midnight blue with silver threading that caught the light. "That's Harrion, the prince's half-brother," I heard Kaida say

Alys asked him quietly, as she ran her fingers over the carvings, staring at them in wonder. “This is a supernatural shop. Our warlock friend runs it and he sells all sorts of books on the different beings, as well as all manner of other things. He knocked three times before turning the handle and walking in.
