She looked closely at the book and smiled, “Harry Potter?” She asked in surprise. “Yes my darling, I believe that there's a creature in this book that might have a hand in Mirabel's petrification.” Akira scoffed, “I doubt the basilisk would want to have anything to do with her.”

I petted his tail and said, "Will you let go for a bit? I need to watch the eggs now." Suddenly, Basil bared his fangs at me and hissed fiercely.

I answered him while pointing to the sparkling water. I will. He answered me and the Basilisk stepped forward. Its footsteps are so big that the ground still shakes a little. I took a step back because his wing almost hit me. The Basilisk immediately jumped and dived into the water. I didn't know how deep the Sierra Capistula was so I looked down.

I stand there and mentally calculate all the possibilities of me walking out alive of those caves. The caves of Zesux are considered the most dangerous caves. It’s said to be on of the portals to hell which is guarded by a basilisk named Zesux. It is a serpent-like creature with the head of a rooster. It is capable of causing death with just its stare and is incredibly venomous. He tilts his head to a side and I see his lips curl into a sly smirk as if he knows what I am thinking. “I want the Basilisk’s eyes.” He says and I feel my heart stop beating in my chest. My whole body shakes as he throws his head back and chuckles at me. I step back, trying to run away and he instantly growls at me.

Before he knew it, he began to value this unassuming beauty and charm. Finally, the day came when she lured the basilisk from the cave. Thinking that her goal was to find the basilisk's home, he deemed her as reckless and daring. As much as he disapproved of it, he felt the urge to indulge her and let her have some fun. However, he got increasingly worried the longer she stayed in it. Once the basilisk turned onto the path towards the cave, he knew that the little rabbit had no way out. Just as he turned into a dragon to help if she needed assistance, the flash of white that shot out of the cave made his stomach drop.

His voice dropped to a whisper, cold as ice. "If you try to run, I will find you. If you try to fight, I will break you. If you try to kill me, I will make you watch as I destroy everyone who ever showed you kindness." He pulled back, meeting my eyes. "Maeve. The servants who bathe you. Anyone who so much as looks at you with pity. I will kill them all, slowly, and you will watch." My blood ran cold. "Do you understand, half-blood?"

I gave him a slurpy lick and then began moving my head the way he guided me. "Fuck, Lilith! I can’t believe your mouth is as good as your cunt." He hissed, lifting himself from the chair. I was on the verge of gagging, tears spilling from my eyes, but not once did the thought of saying the safe word cross my mind. I loved every second of it.
