Ollie looked up at us from the floor dumbfounded while those on his floor were looking at him with hate at the idea he was a danger to my safety as the doors closed again.
“Feel better, pet?” I asked, wrapping my arms around her, leaning my chin on her shoulder. She was tense, her body coiled like a snake ready to strike. Her jaw is set and her pupils, for what I can see reflected in the door, are still slits. I sigh and embrace her a little tighter, placing soft kisses on her neck, up to her ear.
