Hannah asked, still confused. "We're taking a relaxing trip since my part of the seminar doesn't start until the day after tomorrow," Ashton replied casually. "But—" Before Hannah could protest, a porter carried their luggage to the platform. They were greeted by an attendant who escorted them to the waiting train. Hannah swallowed nervously as she took in the sight of the vintage brown train. Once inside, there were cabins for the passengers, a lounge, a restaurant, and even a spa, which left Hannah amazed. "Your cabin is in the back. It has the best view," the attendant informed her.

My breath misted in front of me as I ascended the cold steel steps onto the train. The train was warm but stifling inside. I settled into a seat at the back, by the window, where I could keep an eye on the entrance. As the train jolted forward, the scenery outside morphed into a blur of gray and brown, but I couldn’t let my guard down. My senses were heightened; every noise felt amplified—the screech of the brakes, the rustling of newspapers, the soft hum of conversations. And then I spotted him. Finn.

Madelyn looks at me and I smile at her, making her blush. “So, what movie are we watching?” I ask taking the focus off of her. “Well, I think my mate needs to learn what it means to be a Gryffindor, don’t you?” Maeve asks. “Harry Potter it is! I’ll make the popcorn,” I say, showing Madelyn where to sit and grabbing a blanket off a chair to give to her. I don’t know if she’s still cold, but in case she is, I want to make sure she’s warm.

22 September, 2050 The train grumbled to a stop in the inky night. There was an eerie silence around Harry as he got off. The night seemed to be pregnant with sinister possibilities. Only a few passengers got out of the cars with him. A few more were waiting on the benches to catch the next leg of the route. Factory workers would have left in droves in the hours before. There was a feeling of unease, he just couldn't shake off.

I pick up my belongings and head for the front doors of the school. "Well...well, if it isn't, Train Tracks in motion. Nice Harry Potter pencil case: what are you eleven? If you're looking for Platform Nine and three quarters...Don't bother; they don't accept muggles like you," Kelly smirks while twirling a strand of her curly brown locks in her hand. Alexa and Tia click their heels with impatience. "For someone who thinks I'm a nerd...you sure know a lot about Harry Potter, yourself there, Kelly."

He must have been a Hunter. Surprisingly, the train had a large number of youngers about my age. Almost all holding large boxes and some looking rather glum. For most of the train ride the only complimentary sounds were the random crackling and clinking of metal and the nervous tapping of the shoes of the gruff mans who sat beside me. Who he was and why he was so disturbed I didn’t even want to know.

So I hurried and got in. As I boarded the magical train, I was greeted by a conductor dressed in a long, flowing robe adorned with mystical symbols. He welcomed me aboard and showed me to my cabin, which was nestled in one of the ornately decorated carriages. As I stepped inside my cabin, I was immediately struck by the sense of magic and wonder that permeated the space. The walls were draped with rich fabrics in deep, jewel-toned hues, and the ceiling was adorned with twinkling fairy lights that cast a soft, ethereal glow.

The spooky decorations at the outside and the loud thundering sound from the inside draw my brows furrowed. With excitement filling her big grey eyes, Daniella smiles at me as she holds my hand, “Come on!” once again, she pulls me in. Following the staff’s lead, we walk past the gate with the free tickets and come into the station. When we come in, we see connected cars on the track. They are all built resembling old wooden barrels, a little larger than the regular size. The barrels are built with benches, providing stable seats to their riders. We eye the route along the track to find that the track leads the wooden barrels towards a pair of huge old wooden doors painted with huge creepy ey

Brandon says but I still won't budge. Eventually, I do and I watch someone named Harry and Ron riding a flying car and getting tangled up in a giant moving tree. Then there is this lady that's apparently the vice-principal and the head for a house called Griffindoor or something like that, what's her name Mrs McDonald's? I like her. Now and then we both laugh and I enjoy it when his chest rises and falls against my head. This is nice.
