This door was always locked when I left, the magic kept it sealed. “No, no,” I shoved the door open, “Lumos,” I barked and the entire room flared up with light. I stared at the empty circle that I had drawn with a chalk. There was blood pool at the centre of the circle and the puddle had shifted till it erased a part of the chalk, defacing the effect there.

What should I do to be able to find them quickly? “Uhm, Guardian?” Henry’s familiar voice snapped me out of my thoughts. I turned to him to see what he wanted to say, when at the same time, my detection spell went off. “You might want to see this.” Henry added. He didn’t need to ask for me to look. I am already looking at the direction that he mentioned. At a considerable distance somewhere up above, a bright white light luminates into a flash big enough for the eyes to see. Normal people would have wondered what that light was, but for me, with my detection spell activated, that flash looks more like a guiding light to start my search.

The heavy double doors of the potion hall slam open with a force that rattles the windowpanes. Everyone turns. Lucian. He storms into the room like a comet crashing through the sky... his golden hair tousled by the wind, his long coat billowing behind him, his boots thudding hard against the marble floor. He’s clutching a small crystal vial that glows with an eerie, otherworldly light. Hope. He rushes straight to me, and in that split-second, the world stops turning. He’s here. He made it. He thrusts the glowing vial into my palm, his warm fingers brushing against mine, sending a jolt straight through my spine. “Go,” he whispers breathlessly, “You’re not done yet.”

Suddenly there was a flash of light from the portion, Deluna raised her head up as her eyes turned purple before reciting the final incantation: Protego sitalalum, umbra rea Abstergo malum, astra mea. Guard me, The light guardians, From danger and darkness, I pray The potion glowed with an ethereal light, its energy resonating with Delunas' magic. The surrounding air shimmered, creating a protective barrier. The potion was activated, and her essence was safeguarded. With a satisfied smile, Deluna turned and sealed the vial, her task complete. The candlelight dipped below the horizon, casting the room in a soft, lunar glow.

So Jai looked up to see where the light came from, and he saw countless small green crystals lighting up the cave. “Those crystals...” Jai muttered. “Oh, yes. You have good eyes, Jai. Those were the same green crystals you found in the plains. They emit light that you can only see in dark room,” Harry said. “I remember my father gave me one when I was a kid. The small stone is now still on my desk,” Darrion said. Harry chuckled. “That is a very good gift for children. My father gave me one when I was a child too. And I learned here that it was used as illumination by people from old times.”

I grab my book and begin scribbling down the light spells we would need to face off against the dark so I can share it with them, the book will need to be with me and I also need to ensure they are able to protect themselves too if we happen to get separated or worse, but I try not to dwell on that, I mean I have lived for more than a Hundred and Fifty years, it’s more than enough, I just wish I was able to see my beloved, even once more and that would have been more than enough for me. After writing down the spells and enchantments, I go to my storage and grab us some Bottomless purses and fill them with healing herbs, potions and serums, I also add a few light orbs but attach the final ing

I hadn’t gotten around to sort them out, it felt wrong to throw books out but some of them could be dangerous in the wrong hands. I didn’t have time to read them all, but I couldn’t ask one of the soldiers to help me. Luckily my dad had organized the books in several sections, wolves with special abilities was one of them. I quickly started to flip through the pages, finding something useful until I noticed a painting on one of the pages that looked like Amber. "The Luminous Wolf. The Luminous Wolf gets it’s powers from the moon. Enhanced speed, strength, senses and self healing capabilities." Was all it said.

He asks incredulously. “Very nearly. I just have to cast the actual spell now. Give me a minute, I need to focus.” I answer optimistically. Harry quite literally covers his own mouth with both hands stacked one over the other and I snort out a laugh. Is it really that hard for him to stay quiet for five minutes? I turn my back to Harry, mostly because he is entirely too distracting and I focus on my spell. Five minutes later, the lanterns flicker to life in a burst of colourful sparks. I chose to make green, pink, purple, blue and naturally coloured lanterns. I’m hoping the colour combination won’t look too silly in the room and will actually just look cool. After a few seconds, her golden pupils opened, adjusting herself to the light. The young lady blinked around, watching the wide sprawling halls with spiky orbs lighting the path. Her teacher told her of those expensive lights. Those orbs were called magicites; magical spheres crafted from monster cores by rune magus. The orbs filled the expansive halls every four or five meters, illuminating the entire halls. There was also the long crimson-hued carpet extending throughout the floor. And then there were the guards. Lili gulped and almost ran away. “Ignore them. They won’t do anything,” The old mistress said. “Just continue walking. We’re already near.”

His hands, weathered and marked by the passage of time, hovered above her, radiating a gentle aura of energy. The wizard closed his eyes, delving into the depths of his knowledge, tapping into the wellspring of his magical prowess. He reached out with his mind, seeking the threads of Lucy's essence, searching for the source of the darkness that had ensnared her. His focus was unyielding, his concentration unbreakable, as he delved deeper into the mysteries of her being.
