I stole all the names from Aphrodite a few years ago. I figured it would come in useful at some point. “I wonder how this pack has gotten under my radar?” I say. “I bet it's the triplets hiding it. That would explain why it isn’t on the list.” Ian comments.

Everyone turned to look at me, and I felt myself shrinking under their gaze. But Kiro and Hailey did not look bothered. Instead, they shared a knowing glare between them. But I could sense something inappropriate until my gaze froze at Hailey, now looking curious, and she cleared her throat. "You're a silver werewolf, but you had no idea about her?" I nodded. "I see… but that must be troubling," Kiro stated. "She was the mother of silver werewolves. But I want more answers than those. Please?" I pleaded, hoping I could somehow gain favor with these two people.

His hand lifted—just slightly, almost without meaning to. And stopped. His eyes were silver again. Not gold. And everything that had been warm went still. He reached for me—I could see it in the tension of his arm, the shift of his weight. The hand that had stopped mid-air.

I eat absolutely everything in front of me and then sit up straight to let the food settle in my tummy. “So, I ran all your tests and there is a few things I would like to discuss with you before the Alpha King comes to talk to you” I just nod yes “So there is a significant amount of wolfsbane, silver and mistletoe to name a few in your blood stream. Do you know how it got there? And how are you still alive?” She asked with a curious look on her face.

“I’m not suppressing anything.” Liya suddenly stirred uneasily. “She sees us.” Fear rose higher inside me instantly. Bella looked genuinely surprised now. “You really don’t know.” My breathing became uneven. “Know what?” Bella glanced around the empty balcony carefully before speaking again. “Silver aura is ancient.” The words hit like stones inside my chest. “It doesn’t appear naturally in normal wolves.” The rogue’s voice echoed again inside my mind. “You were never weak.” Bella’s eyes locked onto mine. “Who taught you to hide it?”

We have had enough surprises, Selene,” he held the woman by his side while the other remained behind them. “As you wish, Silver is within Gold, as Gold is working Silver, each has a task with their mates that hold their rivals body, to learn what they truly deserve from each other.”

"Or do not. But hear what I tell you first." I have not touched it yet. "Silver," he said. "But not ordinary silver. It has been through three witch covens over eighteen months. The blessings layered into it are specific." He paused. "Specific to Fae." The word dropped into the silence between us like a stone into still water.
