Emerson POV The words sliced through the murmurs around me. They weren’t the worst ones. “Don’t look at her,” someone whispered urgently, too close to my ear. “Snake-eyes bring bad luck.” Another voice followed, lower, fearful. “That’s why the Alpha hates her. You don’t stare at things like that and survive.” My stomach twisted. Several pack members turned, their glares sharpening. Some looked away quickly, like my eyes might infect them if they lingered too long. One of them bared his fangs and lunged forward, his steps heavy and deliberate.

Abyron did not take him seriously at all. “You’re just a human, and you dare to stand in my way. Do you even know who I am? I’m the Snake King. With a snap of my fingers, not only you, but everyone here would die.” Auron showed no fear. “Is that so? Then try.” The people behind him stood up as well. Their expressions were calm and fearless. Abyron narrowed his eyes.

I cooed as he enjoyed my affection. Ironically, I named him after a Harry Potter character, but he seemed to like it. Plus, Nagini in the film was a girl, but my Nagini is a male and a familiar. Once my magic grew stronger, Nagini appeared from my magic and took a form of a snake, a cunning and sneaky creature representing the cycle of birth, death, and rebirth. At the snake’s last breath, its red eyes faded, then its mouth slowly opened—where a small, purple core appeared glowing inside. Arth’s blue eyes blended with the purple light as he stared at it in amazement. The thick ice that covered the beast finally broke and shattered into pieces. He pulled out his sword that had been deeply pierced through the snake’s head. The stinky breath of the beast’s mouth made him almost throw up as he picked up the purple sphere inside.

Fallen leaves flew in a circular motion around Lex, becoming faster with each second. The warlock trembled even more in fear. Especially when a giant serpent appeared behind Lex. It was dark, made of shadows, but its eyes showed the same amount of anger toward the warlock. It hissed violently and then lunged at the warlock before Bar could protect himself. The snake swallowed the warlock whole. But the warlock’s scream did not end even when the snake had already curled itself on the side as though it was about to sleep. It seemed as though Lex just put the warlock on a torture chamber inside the snake. “Is she…” Lex couldn’t finish his words.

Nicole asked, trembling. "You saw the snake, right?" she added. "Yes..." "Wait, what was that name you said?" "Apophis. It's an ancient Egyptian evil serpent god," Jake replied, getting the book which Nicole saw its cover glow in a bright orange light with a strange symbol on it. "What? How...how do you know all this? And why is a thirty foot snake attacking us in a library?" "Calm down, okay. I'll explain everything but now we have to try and not get killed. Can you do that?"

Leia uttered as she held Alice's arm tightly. "What? I can't hear you!" Alice shouted as she covered her ears slightly. "I said, we could still leave this place!" "You know we can't!" Alice's face scrunched as she swam through the sea of sweaty people. She could smell the strong aroma of alcohol, sweat, and vomit present in the warm, disgusting air. "Leia! Alice! There you are!" They finally found Yu. He was wearing a silvery white wig (which Alice thought does not fit Yu) and a robe that had a Slytherin logo branded on his left chest. It was obvious that he was Draco Malfoy from the Harry Potter series.

"What did you do to the scepter? Purl, did you see what happened. Dammit, Jinx! I'm not ready for the snake again! Don't toss it... fuck." The snake hit the ground and turned into a bunch of tinier snakes. "I am not concerned about Tarsi fucking with the scepter right now!" Purl's small legs could not keep him from being snapped at by the otherwise adorable little snakes. "Why did you have to summon something venomous?"

The snake rose above the river and rolled it's muscular tail around the dragon's body , squeezing it to death. The dragon tried to get out of it's grip but getting out of the snake's tail was impossible. It emitted fire towards the snake but his fire was harmless to the snake. And now it was Fenix's snake turn , it emitted the glass fire which burnt the dragon into ashes. "Woah! So powerful you are , hubby." She landed a light kiss on his cheek hugging him tightly. She was feeling so proud of herself because she had powerful mates. He just blushed in shyness. He ordered his snake figure to help the boat to sail in speed.
