Startled, Grace turned only to find her manager, Tobby, standing beside her while also watching her computer screen. "About Adro? What do you mean?" Grace asked. "Why do you look so confused? Aren't you reading that news because Adro will be voicing the Harry character?"

From the corner of my eye, I see Ragnar watching it all from the sidelines, like a messenger of death himself. A rogue tries to flee. Ragnar's scythe spins out of his hand, decapitating him, but he doesn't kill him, I notice, just as someone knocks me down and just like that, I'm carried into the heat of the battle again. Ryker, on the other hand, blurs between wolf and human, leaving dead men in his wake till the last of the rogues stands. "Who sent you?" Ryker asks. I wobble on my feet, completely exhausted but manage to keep the stray wolf firmly in a chokehold.

"Never leaving my sight, babe." "Shut up and kiss me," Brooke demanded but they were suddenly interrupted when the door swung open. Harry grabbed his towel that he had dropped and covered himself up, glaring at the intruder. "Shitting hell!" He swore. "What the fuck-" Brooke sucked in a breath and Harry stood up, standing in front of her. "Rogue," Brooke said shakily. "I see you're making the most of being back with your mate," Rogue said. He was leaning against the doorframe, watching Harry and Brooke with cold eyes. "I'm sure you know why I'm here, Brooklyn."

So doing what he wanted and when he wanted it was the best way to avoid getting hurt and surviving until whenever this would be over. I was suddenly pulled out of my thoughts just as the curtains flipped open from behind me. Then I turned around to see it was Mr Rover, and I couldn't help but let my eyes roam over his new look. He was dressed in a white tuxedo that looked like it was perfectly tailored for him, and he had his hair all swept to the back. He looked so alluring that for a moment, I forgot he was holding me hostage and I found my heart racing faster the closer he walked toward me.
