He pops up from the table and embraces you for a moment, then motions back to the table "You're here! Look, these are for you and your..." he trails off, shooting a sly grin at kenma and wiggling his eyebrows "...your man." your man? my man? My peering gaze of confusion doesn't register with the men as they all laughing at Kyo's statement. Kenma passes off a plate of thick, chocolate-studded brownies in my hands.

He pulls back—forehead to hers. **Haru:** “We have to get ready for school. Or we’ll miss the bus.” Mia nods—still dazed, lips tingling. **Mia:** “Okay. But… tonight?” **Haru (grinning):** “Tonight.” She slips inside—door clicking soft behind her. Mia heads straight to her room—shower first, hot water washing away the last of yesterday’s blood and smoke. She dresses quick: jeans, Lake Hamilton tee, then pulls Haru’s hoodie over it all.

You can call me Hiro.” “Then, Hiro-kun.” She smiled and looked back at the other two children who were shyly hiding behind her. “Come on, you two. Greetings.”

Seeing the look on her face, Yuna already knew what she was up to. "My dear Yuna." "Stop." Yuna raised her hand to stop Kiara from coming close. "I'm injured, so you can't hug me so suddenly. I already know about the situation between you and Harry." Kiara's eyes lit up upon hearing that, and she had an excited look on her face. "So Harry is really your good friend whom you've known for years?" Yuna nodded. "Yeah, Harry, Sherry, and I have known each other for an equally long time. We're friends!" She even emphasized it to remind Kiara.

“You and Hibiki... us. It feels like a dream.” Jiro stepped closer, his expression softening even further. He reached for Haru’s hand, intertwining their fingers with a familiar ease that made Haru’s heart swell. “It’s real,” Jiro said, his voice thick with emotion. “We’re real, Haru. And we’ll always be real. Together.”

A guy wearing a red hoodie is sitting casually and playing a game on his cell phone. I took a step toward the man. "Excuse me, are you Roy?" I asked once I got to the guy's bench. He looked up at me and smiled warmly. I don't know which is warmer, the morning sun or this guy's smile. "Are you Kei? Sit down; I've been waiting for you for a long time." Roy stood up, pulled a chair for me, and motioned for me to sit down. "Well, I guess I'm not late." I glanced at my watch, confused.

He smiled hesitantly and scratched the back of his head. Kyle shook his head as he made his way to them. “I prefer it to be you than anyone else,” he said, and they did a fist bump. I smiled. Kira is a good catch. He might be the kindest vampire I’ve ever known. And I also believe that Miley is in good hands. We were all having fun when Hiro suddenly spoke up. “I have something to confess too!” That made us turn to him. He suddenly put his arm around Reiri, causing the latter to blush.

Arche just listens to Haru's story. "Jayson and Tyrel's parents. They loved me so much, they recognize me as their daughter too. But do you know the happiest memory I forgot was when my family and I were together in a park? We had fun bonding there." Haru opened her palms and caught the raindrops that seemed to accumulate in her hand, and then she held Arche's hands. "I love you," Haru said while she smiled as she looked into Arche's eyes. She touched Arche's cheek and she kissed Arche smack on his lips.
