Tonight was set to feature a full moon—an already powerful period for our species—but that wasn’t all.
To specify, it was a harvest moon. While the term dated back centuries, with human allusions to agriculture, for werewolves, it carried a different meaning.
The significance of the harvest moon was that it held aphrodisiac qualities, putting us she wolves (mated or not) in a temporary period of heat that could last anything from a day to two weeks, and it was tradition for Pack females to go out on a mandatory girl’s night out to let out steam, clubbing and mingling with humans as the sensations were so heightened.
