Delbert reassured her upon seeing her fear. Harriet raised her chin in a spoiled manner and directly let go of Delbert's hand. "Who's afraid? I'm not afraid!" With that, she followed Molly into the haunted house, leaving Delbert behind shaking his head with a resigned smile. Harriet was afraid of ghosts. He had known that since she was a child! The amusement park was quite large, and the haunted house was quite realistic. The entrance was a rusty iron gate. Delbert walked ahead and slowly pushed open the iron gate. The sharp, piercing sound of the door opening made Harriet feel a little flustered.

A bony figure jumps from one tree, its face dripping with blood, bones peeping from its own skin. It looks like a real life damn horror movie. Gwen screams out loud as the figure grabs her arm.

For now, all that was on her mind was on what was going on downstairs. With tippy toes, she made her way downstairs. Since she wanted to find out what was going on, she had to be extra careful. She didn’t want whoever or whatever it was to know that she was about checking them out. It was now late into the night and the moon was out. The rays from the moon casted shadows to every part of the house, giving the house a haunted look. The overhanging curtains in the hallways appeared to be scarier than they actually were. The forefathers of the Henshaw dynasty whose photo frames aligned the walls seemed to be staring at her with a haunted expression on their faces.
