Out of nowhere, a ghost jumped on them, triggering her fight instincts. She curled her fist tight and punched the ghost hard on the face, almost cracking its white mask.

They arrived at the haunted house right on time. There were five or six girls in front of them who were also waiting. In addition to the two of them, they formed a "team" to enter. Before Eunice could say a word, Dickson was behind her and forcefully pushed her into the haunted house. The light suddenly dimmed, but there were all kinds of strange lighting systems in the haunted house. Within the dim light, it made people feel more terrified. It also had terrifying sound effects that the staff had programmed deliberately.

Inside, eerie sounds and flashes of dim light had her friends clinging to her arms, with her own fear rising at every twist and turn. “Sia, this place is seriously creepy…” Kiara muttered. They walked through a winding, dimly lit hallway, lined with narrow, twisting corridors that vanished into darkness. The decorations were so unnervingly realistic that her friends suddenly froze, shivering. “Cassia… I think I’m going to wait outside. This place is seriously creeping me out,” Kiara whispered.
