My bags are packed, Mirabelle packed for me and right now she's asleep, she wanted to sleep early tonight to rest well for the trip. I close my math book and take a look at my art book, I hate art and this assignment is shitty, I can't fucking draw a tattoo design that I haven't seen before. I let out a sigh and begin doodling on my notepad, I want to draw something that showcases both evil and good like- The door to my bedroom crashes to the ground, revealing Adrian on the other side of it. I take off my headphones and look down at the door. I actually liked this door and I thought it was strong but I guess not.

“We came here to ask if your husband has ever had any female relative who has ebony hair that is shoulder length, amber eyes, and is approximately five feet three inches tall. Her skin is very pale, and she—” Thanatos didn't even get to finish his description before the woman interrupted him and said, “We don't have any relatives based on your description.” At this point, Hades participated in the conversation and said, “Name your price.” The woman arched her brow thoughtfully. The unexpected proximity caught her off guard a little bit. Even Thanatos did nothing more than look at Hades and wonder what he could possibly be up to at that moment. “I beg your pardon?” the woman asked.

Lucas had been gone for hours, leaving me to the not so careful ministrations of Magda. The wart nosed witch who I had clobbered over the head with a candlestick. She was hunched forwards with a permanent hunchback and cloudy milky white eyes signalling that her eyesight was diminished with cataracts. She almost looked like she had taken a step out of a Greek mythology book and was actually one of the fabled grey sisters, who determined all living creatures fate. Perhaps she was, all myths derived from elements of truth. Any second now she was going to pull out a pair of rusty old scissors and cut my life cord into two. I held back a giggle at the thought.

Monica was very helpful and brought us to another settee and gathered a few pillows and throws for Adeline to use. “Can I lay my head on your lap,” my daughter asked me. Nodding I sat in the corner of the couch while she situated herself. Feeling the weight of her head on my lap, I glanced down at her, looking up at me in deep thought. “She is speaking with her Lycan, Zoya,” Elina exhaled in my mind. “Hopefully she is giving her good advice,” I murmured, catching Adeline’s eyes peeking up at me.

My voice was low in my throat. Zach shot a smirk and playful wink at Anila, before looking back at me. “I’m not a coward like you are, Harley. I won’t just hand over my fated mate so easily, someone destined to be for me in every imaginable way.” He met my eyes, two raging hurricanes overwhelming me. “What Xaden offers is not enough to give something like that up, don’t you think?”

" I didn't know he was an artist. I kind of had the idea that he could be a writer but— he's amazing." Rebekah nodded. " Feed your eyes on everything here if needed. Zade is gonna call soon if he finds out we are out of the hospital already. But if he finds out I brought you here..." Rebekah— crossing her arms, took a few strides towards Josette. She leaned in closer and whispered; " He is going to be the artwork of specular madness and I want no tiny part of it. Feed your curiosity before it feeds on you instead." 🌹~~~~~~~~~~~🌹

But I followed him. I could not stay behind. Outside the gates stood a tall man with a thick skin and deep blue eyes. Alpha Kael. He looked even stronger than the last time I saw him. Alpha power was already smelling on his body and he was breathing like thunder. His eyes found me immediately right there as I got lost in thought. “Annie,” his voice cut across the room. “I have come for my mate and my pups.” The woods went silent for a while. I felt another kind of power as Damon touched me.
