I head back to my room, my phone pinging from his message. I sat back on my desk, accessing my computer and finding the file with Adeline’s name on it. When I locate the video, I slip on my headphones over my head, drowning out the world around me. I close my eyes tightly, clutching the earphones firmly against my skull. Her moans penetrate my skull and her soft cries evade my soul. Finally, I can breathe again for now. ADELINE

Despite his captivating looks, there was an unsettling aura surrounding him, causing a shiver to run down my spine as I dared to meet his gaze. "You are awake," he says again. His voice smooth and cold like frost on a winter morning sent a chill through the room as he spoke each word. I have never been scared by hearing a person speak. "I am Zade Aella, I assume you have heard a lot about me." He moves closer, and I move away, hoping the chair will open up and swallow me. He would kill me, kill my baby, and then Kill Ace mentally. I am not scared for myself; I fear for Ace and what would become of him when he found me dead.

Snuggling under the duvet, Alice let her thoughts drift until she fell asleep. The faint creak of the door opening and soft footsteps stirred the silence. Zade entered, dressed in a loose black shirt and sweatpants. A stick of unlit weed rested between his lips. He stared at her small figure on the bed, wearing one of his shirts. The duvet was pushed aside, exposing her bare legs. Even in the faint light, he noted every detail of her form. Her hands were clenched, pressed against her chest, and her hair was scattered over her face. Zade moved to the window, his face dark with thought. He never made mistakes, and he hoped this wasn’t his first.

Adelle said "Going where? You are not by chance going to that house are you?" Zach asked "You are very wise Zach, I am going to apply as a maid in their Villa" Adelle said calmly "Are you seriously considering that? If Wade finds out he'll have my head." Zach said "Don't exaggerate Zach, we both know he'll never hurt you. Anyways I am going to go over there and apply for a job and gain their trust then I strike, they won't know what hit them." Adelle said

Since there was no rhyme and reason to avoid it out of shyness or fear anymore, the maiden told her mother as honestly as she could. "The strange feeling I have for Hades now is stronger than fear and rancor, mother," Persephone admitted. "Whenever I looked back on our unexpected meetings, it seemed like a surreal and mysterious dream that haunted my heart. While I am here, overjoyed to see you again, I still could not forget the dark tall woman who seems to have claimed my soul. Yes, Mother Demeter, I do love Hades. I did not know when or how but I do love her very much so."

Adeline's POV I sat in the room, my face buried in my palms. I sighed, staring at the drives in my hand each labeled with my name and Aiden's. At the back was written, Memory Bank. Yesterday, I found this in uncle Thane's room after a long search. I pulled out the laptop from the drawer, inputting the drive that has my name labelled on it. Just as I put it in, my head rang with an headache, one that nearly ran me crazy. I feel to the floor, grabbing my head then, the forgotten memories came in like a rush almost ripping off my brain.

A lone cabin sat nestled among the trees, dim light flickering through the window. I swallowed hard. Something felt off. But my feet moved before my brain could stop them. The closer I got, the louder the sounds became. Ragged breathing. A low, guttural groan. A moan. My chest tightened. No. I reached the window, peering inside. And my world shattered. Yet, I paid them no mind. I did not believe in vampires. I just didn’t know why I couldn’t shake off Geoffrey’s crazy story.

Standing at the gates was a woman with burning hands. Her hair was auburn red and her eyes were angry as hers. She waved her hand and released a ball of fire hitting Maddy. The old woman screamed and fell to the ground as the fire slowly leeched her life away. Rila was breathing heavily. The carnage was overwhelming. The smell of smoke and blood was real. The terror around her was real. For the first time in a long time she felt fear and scared.

She also kept having the feeling that she was being watched, but everytime she raised the blinds to check, she saw no one. Half an hour later, even though her mother had tried to convince her that there was no way they were followed, she just couldn't help it. She kept pacing, ignoring her mother's plea to sit down and rest. Other than being paranoid about being followed, she was also thinking of what to do about her being hunted by vampires and how to save Aamon.
