I yawned and took my phone from the nightstand, it was Kate, voice calling me through my social media account. "Hello?" My voice was damn groggy. "Oh!! Naomi..." her voice was sympathetic. "My sincere condolences to you. I know it's hard for you to cope up with this pain...." What is she blabbering?? "Where are you?" I cut her off as I yawned again and snapped my fingers infront of my mouth. "I'm heading back to home from office with Zach." What?? Oh I totally forgot, Hawaii is six hours back from New York..

I warn her. "I can't believe I trusted you." "Me neither. That was a big mistake, princess." I start the boat up and begin maneuvering it away from the dock. "You're such an asshole!" Ignoring her, I guide the boat out of the harbor and hit the throttle. Waves explode behind us and we leave the dock and Matthias and his guards in the dust.
