He was a bit shorter than Jeremy but definitely more handsome, he looked like those perfume male models that you would see on billboards, clean-shaven, lean, and tall with a beautiful face to match. I blushed under his stares. "You guys are perfect, you're so lucky Jemmy. You are perfect for him Riley. Oh, I'm so happy for you guys." I wiped my happy tears. "Oh god, I can't believe that my high school sweetheart is getting married already. Whatever it is in me, that made him realize that he's gay, you better thanked me, Riley!" I joked making everyone laughed. "So, your plus one is confirmed? Jem told me that you're seeing this Gucci guy." I laughed and nod my head.

“Good night, Christian!” “I’m not going anywhere without my kiss. You’ve tormented me the whole day and I want my compensation.” There were repeated knocks on the door and Skylar grinned, knowing it was Hayley who kept on knocking impatiently. “Who has a death wish now?” groaned Christian as he went to open the door. “Oh! Did I interrupt you guys?” asked Hayley with an impish grin. “No, not at all!” chirped Skylar. “Yes you did,” said Christian. “Can you come ten minutes later?”

I whispered, not sure he heard me, but he did anyway. “If she dies…” he stepped closer, his body brushing against mine now, “except the moon goddess gives him a second chance mate… he would live the rest of his life alone,” I swallowed hard. My lips parted, but no words came out. I just stood there, staring… I didn't know if to say that's sad, or if it's actually cute. ***** I tossed on the bed for the umpteenth time, unable to sleep. Kael sat on the sofa, watching me… No, he wasn't watching me. He was staring. Not his usual creepy stare, but this time, soft and… maybe cute.

She talks about Tyler Bradshaw, her love interest, taking my mind off of Daphne and Harrison. I enjoy listening o her talk, especially about her date. It is nice to hear about those things, flirtation, handholding, the first kiss, words can't hurt me like actions would. I live vicariously through her stories.

Haley smiled. She was wearing a fuzzy, white, sweatshirt over black leggings with a small pink purse with gold and white highlights hanging from her neck diagonally on her hip. Her flowy, brown hair had been straightened and pulled behind her ear, letting her petite nose and chin shine. Her green eyes gleamed with mischief as she saw Selena holding onto Samson. Sneakily, she elbowed her. “What happened to never falling in love with the hot alpha?” Haley teased. “I’m not in love with him!!!” Selena roared.

“You don't have to apologize. I should apologize. I've been following a scent that's been driving me crazy since I got back.” He laughs softly. “I was so distracted that I didn't even notice where I was going.” Kayla smiles. “Apparently I was distracted too.” They stare at each other again. I grin. Then, of course, Haley decides she's had enough. “So are you guys going to keep staring at each other? Because I'm hungry.” Haley asks with a frown and I burst out laughing. Harvey chuckles. Kayla covers her face. I shake my head. “You'll understand when you're older.”

He asked, and still smiling, “I denied it; it's true that I don't look that age.” "We're the same age, Klaus" said an elated Sven. "Really? What month are you from?" I asked. "I'm from the 30th of December." Sven answered with a smile. "October 13th. But don't call me , just plain Klaus, okay?" "I think so," said Sven. "Did you just meet each other too?" Kane asked us. "Yes, Klaus saved me from being buried to death by those little boxes of marshmallows." looked at him in disbelief at Sven's words.

Hailey’s POV My heart leapt out of my chest at Tyler’s words. That bastard. That conniving, no-good, mother fucking, rat bastard. “What?” Derek said. “Yeah man, she’s in the closet. You should go in there, maybe play a little seven minutes in heaven.” “Oh, oh yeah? She’s in there?” Derek said sarcastically. “So I’ll just open this door and find Hailey standing in your pile of shit-stained underwear?”

I set my phone down and stared at the ceiling, the bookmark on my nightstand, my heart still racing. I'd come to Colorado for Christmas with my best friend. I'd never expected to fall in love. But here I was. Completely, terrifyingly in love with Derek Hayes. And for the first time in my life, I wasn't afraid of it. I was just happy.

“I see. You know her, huh? What do you say? Bet your ass you’re making out with her tonight.” I shook my head again, laughing incredulously. I don’t know if who’s more delusional now. She may drive me off my senses but I know my reality, unlike Junhoe here who’s obviously got too much confidence in me. “Nah. Out of my league.” I gulped another drink of the beer. Junhoe frowned at me, his thick lips parting. “What? Out of your league, man?! I mean, I know the girl’s popular but who doesn’t give in to your charms?”
