He turned to Eden with a smile on his face. "And what has you so happy?" Eden asked. "So, you remember Elias? Well, his dad runs the Agust Mafia in LA and Elias is second in command. Lilith has asked them to help us and apparently they've heard very highly of the Bullet Agency and are more than willing to help." Malakai explained and that was definitely good news. "That is amazing." Eden beamed and hugged Malakai. They weren't alone in this, they had the most powerful freaking mafia in LA helping them.

I ask, trying to remember what happened. I notice a slight pain in my neck and instinctively touch it, trying to remember how I hurt myself. "are you ok? does your neck hurt?" he asks, making me look up into his worried eyes - worried blue-green eyes - and just like that my memories of last night started to come back to me in flashes.........the parade.....Igor......the club......h-him!

Within seconds I was in Laura's Dm. I tapped the link.. It led to a game, The Harvest. It sounded like some lame farm game. "Start game", I hesitated a bit before finally selecting that option. "Howdy!", The game's mascot appeared at her screen. "What would you like your player name to be?" "Tch!... I just wanna find Laura!", I yelled at the phone. "Name too long, sorry..." "Arghhh!... Stupid game!.. my name is Belle, Belle Franchester!"

“Oh, you are so on! There are many things I’m good at, but it appears killing zombies isn’t one of them. In the end, Ethan wins and I whine all the way to the snack bar. “Not fair,” I whine as Ethan places an order for burgers and drinks. “You know where all the zombies were popping up. You’ve played the game before!” Ethan gasps in mock offense even bringing his hand up to cover his mouth. “The audacity. I haven’t just played the game before. I have mastered it! Luke has the exact same machine in his game room.” Now it was my turn to gasp. “You cheater!” I accuse him, hitting his arm with a balled-up fist. But Ethan only laughs, catching my wrist in his hand.

It was a given. “So Hazel, you will play in the games me and Axel have planned for you just to keep us entertained. If you win, we call off the war, but if you don't— oh, sweet Hazel, there will be bloodshed.” My tummy clenched, and I found it hard to swallow. It was obvious. This wasn't something simple. “Don't be scared. It's just one game from each of us to appease our wrath.” he explained, and I had that strong persistent feeling that the games would be nasty.

They both parted ways and Hazel returned to her chambers. ... Hazel was awoken by the knock on the door of her room. She sat up in bed and peered out the window, from her position on the bed. It was dark outside and the moon was at it's fullest tonight. It's rays reflected through the window and bathed her room with it's silvery glow. The candles burned low in the golden candleholders in her room.
