He had joked with me once that his personal trainer was the only person he let tell him what to do, other than his parents. “Did she call you again?” I asked him and watched as he briefly stiffened before continuing to lather his body. “Do you really want to know?” he asked, “Yes, I need to know if I’ve caused you any trouble sir. I’m sorry.” He paused and pulled back the shower screen enough to poke his head through. “My Angel, YOU did nothing wrong, and YOU have not caused me even a small amount of trouble.”

Something it had never felt before. And so, it started to think.

He only said one thing, calm and certain. “No.” A pause. “Now it is beginning.”

The head juror mocked. "Well,it all begun like this..."He begun.

An ex-marshal! He told me he had worked with books his entire life. That he had started working as a newspaper vendor at the age of nineteen as soon as he completed his secondary school education. Why did he lie to me? What was he trying to protect? If he was on some super secret spy mission, why did he get involved with me? Why did he make friends with me? He said he knew dad, was that as lie as well? I sighed heavily as I put my hands in my pocket. My fingers brushed over the crest and I pulled it out. It was a very pretty crest attached to a not so large gold brooch. "That's a pretty thing you got there, boy."

His smile faultered for a moment, but he picked up right where he left off. "I think it best if we start at the beginning, my sweet."

What was he planning on doing was he just going to torture me. The bed sunk on my right. Yep, he was now on the bed what was he going to do to me now. Don’t panic deep breaths. He caressed the wounds on my leg. I felt his tongue on my bare skin above one of the wounds. He then licked the wounds he gave me. ‘Mmmmm’ his deep voice purred.

And so he started the engine. Wherever this would lead, one thing was sure: he wasn’t letting her face it alone.

And the war for it— Had only just begun.

It might never be. But it had begun.
