44 ****Natalie's POV**** On my way to the hospital, I had decided to get beverages for Maurice, alongside a bouquet of flowers as Maurice had always done. Inhaling the flowers when I got close to the VIP ward of the hospital, I was reminded of Maurice's predicament and current state of health. The sweet scent of the peonies were not enough to assuage the guilt I felt or my pity towards Maurice. I had said a short prayer with Mrs. MayFair, the favor I requested from her, and I strongly believed that even before I got to the hospital Maurice would regain his consciousness atleast. Main reason I had bought the beverages.

I brought a musical snow globe, specially designed for my angel, with our photo and name engraved on it beautifully. Then I ordered a bouquet of flowers for my angel. The sales woman asked me what to write on the card. I smiled and took the pen from her. I wrote. "A beautiful rose for a beautiful woman who is my beautiful wife and has given me a beautiful life and children. Happy anniversary angel!" Soon I reached home with flowers in my hand and a big smile on my face. I entered the living hall only to see my angel's fearful face. "Please, I haven't done anything. Let me go" Angel crying.

"Can I open my eyes now?" And when she opened her eyes, the scene in front of her was so startling that she forgot to blink. White trees with pink flowers on them were so green and distant mountains covered with snow. The flowers on the ground looked like they had come to heaven on earth. And then the flowers started falling there. Flowers were flying from the trees and peas were flying in the air and she was just waiting for this scene with her mouth open. "Is this heaven?" That was all she could do.

It was like we were completely invisible. April, what is going on? I whispered in our mind. She whined, taking a step toward them. I thought they would follow me into the mist. Can they not see us? As she walked forward, my eyes dropped to the forest floor. A small, vibrant purple flower grew right by her front paw. Stop! I yelled. April, look down. That purple flower. That is wolfsbane. Riona POV . . Was this a dream? I was surrounded by white. Was I in heaven? I wasn't dead yet, was I? The field of flowers around me was all in white. White roses, white lilies, white cosmos, and even sunflowers were in a shade of white. I lifted my head and took a glimpse of the horizon, the sky though was a hue of baby blue and pristine white. The scents of the flowers surrounding me spread in the air. My nostrils were tickled as my nose cringed.
