Hudson managed to disguise his anger well, as we advanced to the stage and stood in the sacred circle, in front of the elders; to the side were our parents. “Let’s begin,” Elder Krunk smiles with me and I nod, then he imparts the blessings: “May the Moon Goddess visit us this evening to share her gift of grace as she travels through sacred time and space. We are grateful for the journey of self-discovery, healing, and empowerment under her direction. May we see and comprehend the larger cosmic cycles and celestial occurrences that are in control of our lives when she is around. We align ourselves with the physical and spiritual worlds by working together with her to master the invisible spir

“A second chance….” Nyssa smiled. She hadn’t expected love, she didn’t even hope for it but the moon goddess, in her strange wisdom, had given it to her. A soft knock pulled them from the moment. The door swung open to reveal Papa Ganda, Nyssa stood as he approached with a proud smile. “You look radiant already, my child,” he said, placing a blessing hand on her shoulder. Nyssa smiled warmly. “Papa…” He bowed his head slightly. “The ancestors watch over you today. I came to give my blessings before the ceremony. You deserve happiness, Nyssa, after everything you have endured.”

Maybe the Goddess had changed her mind. But then I remembered the way Elliot’s voice had broken that night, the certainty in his words, the centuries-old decree that no royal heir could be born outside destiny. No, this wasn’t a miracle. This was something else. Elliot’s hand rested on Ariana’s back, a polite gesture, but his fingers didn’t move. His jaw tightened as Helen announced, “The Alpha and the Luna will receive blessings at dawn!” The staff erupted again in cheers, but all I could hear was the ringing in my ears.

Heavens bless you real good. And to my new followers, welcome onboard 🫂🫂🫂🫂❤️❤️

whispered the angel before a light blinded us and he disappeared. Selene gasped and then closed her eyes tightly. “This is unheard of,” Bella said incredulously. “You must be more than important; you must be vital to whatever is happening if the gods have sent our Goddess to bless you, and that has never happened before, not with a group. So don't take anything for granted.” I nodded and hugged Selene. My friends sat down to process the sensations of the blessing, and my grandfather and Bella went to get tea to calm them down. However, Maurice approached us and looked at us in disbelief.

I said through clenched teeth. "What are we going to do? Luna is one of the Founding Blessings. She can’t go there anymore. Leila isn’t spiritually blessed—she only creates potions. The boys are occupied with their training and missions." I clenched my jaw and looked him in the eyes. "Look, Michael. We grant blessings through the Moon Goddess. But those who do wrong must learn to repent. We’ll send someone when the time is right." "But we can’t be selfish. It’s still our duty," Michael sighed. "I know you won’t forgive them easily, but we can’t abandon our responsibilities."

“You need to come home, my child. Your presence is required at the Ceremony of Blessings. It’s important you come, Georgia.” The ceremony of blessings is a ceremony that happens once in several full moons. In this time, all first daughters of the alpha are being blessed by the moon goddess and all the strongest prophets. “The moon goddess’s blessing starts soon. As you know, It is our tradition, and it is your duty to be there.”

I shout, knowing he isn't immune to the Silver like we are. The guest gasps, and I'm sure the mutterings of rumors start to fly amongst everyone watching. Leander turned to me and gave me a shocked expression. "I'm just giving them my blessing, Lucy. It doesn't happen often, but there are times when the blessing is necessary for the connection to snap into place," Leander whispers. "I'll do it! I'll give the blessing." I don't know why I blurted this out or felt like I had any right to do this, but my main priority was that he didn't cut into his flesh with the knife.

Almost before she could finish her words, I throw my arms around her, tears spilling from my eyes as I cry into her shoulder. “Sacred blessings,” Ethan mutters, “It’s a rare blessing only the Goddess can bestow.” Without releasing my mother, I let my eyes fall on the Goddess’s statue and whisper, “Thank you.”
