"That's where she is. Drive, Hector. Drive!" He didn't need further prompting. The tires squealed as he spun the armored sedan around, aiming it toward the forgotten, dark edges of the city. "You're a brilliant, terrifying menace, Beth," Hector said, glancing over at me. "I know," I breathed, already preparing to hack into the local grid to confirm the power draw. "Now, let's go get our people back."

“Poetic.” “Boss?” the scout asked hesitantly. “Kill him,” Hector said without blinking. “He is a liability. He falls on the ground with a thud, his arm fractured. Hector squeals in pain as Ryder gets out of the car. Jim is shocked to see his fiery aura emitting from him. He’s more assertive and deadly, with a madness which is ready to destroy the world.
