The hotel waiter said respectfully, "Hello, guest, I am a staff member of Howard Hotel, here is your breakfast." She had to take the food box. Closing the door and looking at the empty room, she took out her cell phone and called Jeff. Someone answered the phone after two rings. "Hello, ~~" a middle-aged female voice came through. Kourtney rechecked the number to make sure she had the right number. Hearing no answer, the middle-aged female voice spoke once more and asked, "Hello? Are you there?" "I'm looking for Jeff." "He's not available to answer the phone right now, what can I do for you?"

He couldn’t even get that right. The only good thing right now is Goose found us another house. The dirty motel room was more than I could take. This place was available because it has no central air in this godforsaken desert heat. It has what’s referred to as an evaporative cooling system. It circulates warm air while adding moisture in this damn over-abundant humidity. This wasteland is not the promised dry heat they brag about.

It was a visceral reaction. “Yes. Of course. It’ll be fun. I’m just finishing up lunch with a client. I’ll tell you all about it tonight. But I’m gonna let you go and try to track down Jordyn. Okay?” I said. “Okay,” Dillon replied, although he didn’t sound too enthused. I hung up and did a quick search of the Three Whales hotel. A picture popped up. I stared at it in disbelief. The Three Whales was a super cheesy, super touristy hotel. There was literally a statue of three large whales right out front, all wearing hats and shit eating grins.

But now the hotel was calling me, saying that I'd checked into the presidential suite last night and had even used the condoms in the room. I triple-checked with them, and the front desk firmly insisted that it was me—Bryce Sheehan—who had checked in. I couldn't swallow this indignity, especially since when I first mentioned wanting to go try out the hotel, Nyla had rolled her eyes at me and snapped, "Isn't the house big enough for you? Why must you insist on staying in a hotel? I've never seen someone as wasteful as you!" But Uncle Eric had gifted me this VIP card. Why shouldn't I be allowed to use it?

“O-Our hotel isn’t mediocre, I assure you, Miss Courtney. We keep improving our facilities, upgrading services, and expanding–” I let out a soft laugh. It wasn’t loud, but it was enough to make him stop talking. He froze, staring at me as I’d just stepped on his speech. “Oh, now I remember,” I said with a chuckle. “Hollis Hotels–I’ve heard of it.” Carter’s face lit up, a hopeful smile spreading across it. “I knew you would–” “I’ve also heard that guests often complain about your service,” I cut in, my voice cool and steady. He turned so white that I chuckled.

And the note.”

The school had sent out details of students’ dorm rooms and every other vital piece of information through email. “What room are you?” she asked, and I pursed my lips, staring down at my phone. “Room 17…” I was interrupted when Harper shrieked and threw her arms around me. “Our rooms will be right next to each other!” she grinned, and I cocked my head to the side.

After saying that, she looked at my dust-covered body and waved her hand in disgust. “Now get lost. Don’t dirty up our hotel entrance.” Nearby tourists were drawn to the scene. They gathered in small groups. “Some broke loser was trying to scam a free hotel room. and got himself thrown out. How embarrassing.” “Oh wow. I’ve seen so many of these people. They’re just lowlifes.” A wave of chatter went through the crowd. But after hearing the words “important client,” I immediately took out my phone and looked at the photo my subordinate had sent me.

Opening a nutty chocolate , I start munching on it and groan . " You really love chocolate don't you ? " He chuckles and shakes his head. I want to tell him something but I'm not sure if I should . I turn on the TV putting on a random movie . There's a children's animated movie playing called ' Hotel Transylvania ' , I think it ironically suits our situation quite well so I decide to go ahead and watch it . I'm pleasantly surprised at how entertaining animated movies can be , I haven't really seen much . " You can sit down if you want . " I gesture at the other edge of the bed . As long as he doesn't get too close to me , I should be fine . Better yet , there's the couch . That's the better

I looked at him, and I waited for another image to pop on my screen, which it did. The image of the house popped again, and I said, “Hotel. Hazbin hotel. Goldsmith cash. Hazbin hotel.” He didn’t understand that I said then he was dumb. Too dumb to be a healer, he tapped furiously on the screen of his phone he was going to break it, and it was certain. He showed me an image of a big building with the name ‘Hazbin hotel.’ On it, I nodded with excitement, and he smiled too. We had finally come to an agreement, and it was so fulfilling.
