He handed the small liquid bottle over to the hooded man. The hooded man gripped the bottle tightly, his eyes gleaming with a mixture of desperation and malice. "Are you sure this will make him go all out?" he whispered fiercely, staring at the clear fluid. "This is our absolute last chance. We need to bring him down tomorrow. I am not letting him take that cup from us."

I said with wide-opened eyes as I stared at the big black dog. He sneered, making me flinch. If I moved, he would attack me first. Sweat beads formed on my forehead as the hellhound approached me slowly. "Haley, come slowly to me," Scott said and motioned with his hand for me, I shook my head, scared of the hellhound. As the hellhound took a step towards me, I walked back one step until he growled, making me freeze in my place. Suddenly a circle of fire surrounded us, tearing the hellhound from walking any further. I sighed with relief as I saw the hellhound return to the forest.

They both were always supporting me in these 6 months and were encouraging me a lot too, which somewhat did work and I started to smile again. Leena aunty never even for once told me what is happening there. If he is searching for me or not... and for some reasons I also never asked her anything. This is our first time to see a brown-haired werewolf, most of the hunts we’ve been to have black or grey fur. “Brown?” Rendall asked as we saw the arrow hit its leg and growl in pain.

Thalia… Oh, this was interesting but things became even more interesting when he saw another werewolf. This one was a male with silver eyes and a jacket on. He could see the name of a pack on the jacket. Hellhounds. Lucien was familiar with them and judging by one of the symbols on the jacket this was their Beta. He saw the beta pick the girl up, a current of electricity erupting the moment there was skin contact.

Fury was a pup from Jackson’s own Hellhound, so they were just getting quality time with their hound grandparents. Hellhound pups were fucking awesome. They were so energetic and had that lovable puppy shit that made them adorable as hell. However, they could easily burn someone alive. Their entire species was very intelligent, so it was not a surprise that the pups would be as well. My heart leaped in vitality when the familiar high-pitched sound of a hound infiltrated my hearing. It was my hound, Poloy. A smile cracked my lips. My hound never failed me as my comrade in this battle of hell. "It's bad. We've been surrounded by the beasts!" Belle hurriedly informed them after getting out of the truck. When the window was rolled up, I saw Poloy leading the Aardwolves and Black Vultures. They were blocking the front, hindering the truck to move further. The exciting part is, we're on the turnpike road, all the way to their base underground. Unfortunately, the gap between this road and their base was miles away.

00:02. Ben hit the Enter key. "BAD DOG!" Ben yelled. The Hound froze in mid-air. The red lights on its collar turned blue. The countdown stopped at 00:01. The Hound landed heavily on the platform, inches from Ben's feet. It sat down. Its mechanical tail wagged once, stiffly. "Did you..." Hailey stared, wide-eyed. "Did you just hack a werewolf?" "I... I reprogrammed its IFF (Identification Friend or Foe) tag," Ben stammered, his knees shaking so hard he had to sit down. "I told it that 'Self' equals 'Target'. It seemed they had reinforcement from somewhere, and I began to fear we might not be successful. I could feel our strengths waning. Unlike our attackers, we weren't on drugs, so we had limits. The sound of the descending Helicopter was the only thing that bolstered our strength. It wasn't one Helicopter. I couldn't tell how many from the sound alone, but they had come. The sound of wolves matching into the woods to join the scuffle gave me peace. Liam's wolf howled in the air, and I did the same so they would know our location. After, I began to move towards Harper and Lily's location. Sensing her through our bond, I was able to manoeuvre through until I reached a cave.

Everything else basically sat in the middle of the spectrum. I brought the rim to my lips and tipped the contents back. The blood washed over my taste buds which had an immediate groan of pleasure sounding through the room. Hellhound blood was the most unique type of blood I had ever tasted. It offered sweet notes when it lingered on the tongue but instantly shifted to a burning sensation when it hit the back of my throat and entered my stomach. A Hellhound was essentially made of fire, hence, their blood carried the burning attribute of fire. It was similar to alcohol, except, it didn't intoxicate me.
