Chapter 13 It was late in the afternoon when Ken reached the hell-house. He burst open the door, hoping that Allen would be tucked away in his casket and sleeping peacefully. There were no more deals to be made. Allen had to die, period. The thrill of the kill coursed through his veins as he inched closer to Allen’s room. He could tell he’d been in there. His scent lingered all through the house, becoming stronger as he walked down into the basement.

I can feel my hands getting colder. "The phone call or when you were here last?" He is still seated, calmly looking at me with no emotion in his grey eyes. "Either,both." At that moment I want so badly to get up from my chair and run out of the office. His eyes do not look else where. Not even for a moment to allow me a minute to breathe. She felt a little bad for him, as she watches him act childishly. When we arrive at the address he’d told me, she pulls up in front of an elegant and magnificent mansion with creamed milk paint and from a far off the mansion stands out from the others around. It is more of a family house with fine flowers around it and has a relaxation corner set up at the side of the house, one she only gets to see in movies. The house probably must have cost a fortune. Talk about class. Money talk. Her eyes widen, and her jaw drops in amazement as she stares at the house. And she knows Keenan must have seen her because he chuckles and opens the door to his side, only to stumble face down on the ground.

The pair went down. The sub-sub-basement was not much more than a hole. It looked half-finished. The floor was dirt and support beams propped up the ceiling. Dozens of black candles, shaped like human skulls, illuminated the pit. The sickening sensation grabbed Jon the moment his toe crossed the threshold. This was it. One of the soft places of the earth. The power was stronger here than he had ever felt before. He nearly vomited. Arlo had to help him down the final steps.

The house looked old and definitely not a modern day house. Liyla is surprised and confused to why she has been brought to this place, she looked around but no one seems to be seeing her as they all walked pass her. She had second thoughts about going inside because of fear but she gathered courage and slowly walked up the old wooden stairs then opening the door she enters the house.

They’re better off. “Looking for a new house?” Harley chirps from her spot next to my desk. Her voice startles me, bringing me back to the present. A Zillow listing sits on the forefront of my screen, the listing is two houses down from my target. That’s how I’ll get in, I’ll schedule a viewing and the over eager listing agent will give me the code for the gate. “Something like that,” I mumble, clicking out of the screen. “That’s a real nice neighborhood. I know a guy who lives there.” She nods her head and I stare at her.

She found an abandoned art studio in the attic next door to the apartment belonging to Gregory’s parents. Yolanda approached the office door, and she could hear the others in the office. There were six Hell Hounds. Yolanda left three here to guard her. So, Catherine, Bridgette, and Jill should be with her. Yolanda still got a kick out of the name of their cohort. The concept behind the name was. If a hellhound was frightening. Then the only scarier than that hell hound was its mother. All Hell Hounds were female enforcers in a pack full of male enforcers. Human society didn’t have a stranglehold of misogynists. A few noses out of joint because they were female. She took a deep breath. Pasted

The whole journey of In His Hell was a complete roller coaster ride for me. It was a bitter sweet journey. I will talk about this more breifly in epilouge 2.
