She tries to shift herself in my arms, “Patience.” I get far enough out that I know it will cover most of our bodies once I sink into the water. I let us slowly sink down into the water. She wrinkles her nose. I know she thought it would be cold but it's not. In Hell, everything is how my family wills it to be. After
