Because they were the same ones that had haunted his dreams. Rael whispered the name like a curse. “The Hollow Stalker.” Bram swore. “That sounds like something we should be running from.” The creature let out a deep, rumbling growl that vibrated through the ground. Then, it charged. Elior barely had time to move before the beast lunged, its claws shredding through the space where he had just stood. Freya rolled beneath it, slicing at its legs, but her daggers barely scratched its thick hide. Sienna unleashed a blast of fire—only for the flames to be swallowed by the shadows surrounding the creature.

Every instinct inside me screamed. It moved impossibly fast. Kael shoved me aside just as the creature lunged, a blade of black energy slashing through the space where my throat had been seconds earlier. I hit the ground hard, pain exploding through my shoulder. Kael drew a dagger from beneath his cloak, meeting the creature head-on. Steel clashed against shadow. The sound rang through the forest. “What is that thing?!” I shouted. Kael ducked another strike. “A Hollow.” “A what?!” “They hunt Guardians.”

One hellhound is about six feet tall, which could easily tower anyone. I fired the black ammo at the first hellhound that I saw, which is pinning down one of the hunters. The other hunters in the vicinity try to help their comrade, but the hellhound just vanishes into the shadows. Impressive, I thought as I loaded another black ammo. Maybe I should ask Verphegor for more of these, but I won’t let him know that I intend to use them on him if he ever shows up in my room without notice again.

Fennel and Philip looked at each other before walking toward the manor’s entrance. Suddenly, ten burly men with tattoos all over their bodies rushed out of the manor. They were outrageously stout like gorillas! Fennel and Philip stopped at the same time. The former stared coldly at the ten burly men rushing out and said softly, “Be careful. These ten people are the Hellhounds of the Hall of Evil, the top ten killing machines under the Dark Angels. Their combat level should be between the third and fourth zones. Although it’s not particularly high, their bodies have undergone special transformations. Once their power is fully unleashed, they can reach the peak strength of the fourth zone!”

We were out of options, and it felt like the end. But then, another ear-piercing cry of agonising pain echoed through the realm. It was so loud, so visceral, that we both opened our eyes in shock. Black, sticky blood splattered over Rae, coating her fur and my vision with its dark, oily texture. In front of us, a larger demonic hellhound had appeared. It was a monstrous beast, even more terrifying than the winged creature. Its eyes glowed with an unholy light, and its jaws were filled with razor-sharp teeth. The hellhound had caught the winged beast in its powerful jaws and was tearing into it with a ferocity that was both horrifying and mesmerising.

(At the Mansion) Erlin fought with all his might, his movements precise and efficient. His strength lay not in sorcery but in sheer skill. Yet, without his gear, his physical prowess was insufficient against someone who had studied him through countless realities. Each of Erlin’s movements, every dodge and counter, was etched into Hound’s memory, leading to a prophecy of defeat. As Erlin dropped his guard for a fraction of a second, Hound seized the opportunity. Summoning immense black flames and silver smoke, he launched an uppercut that sent Erlin’s head flying from his body, leaving only a smoldering skull attached to a burning spine.

What the hell was going on? "These aren't normal rogues," someone yelled through the mind link. "They are acting like a pack!" "Arion! This way!" Arrow growled through the mind link. We turned the corner, and what we saw left us petrified: the ground was coated with blood mixed with Rina's scent. Two dead rogues lay motionless on the ground. Their heads nearly separated from their bodies. I sniffed the blood, and Dex's mixed with the rogues. None of it belonged to our mate.

It was pure white and engraved into its taunt skin was any number of golden grooves and symbols covering every inch of it. "My new pet. You've got your hell hounds, so she has decided to give me a Celestial Hound. They're quite interesting animals, especially when they're starving." Why weren't Zale and my hounds trying to stop this? I jerked my head away to look and froze. Bo had his flames all over the battlefield, the pure black glass trapped my mates away from me just as effectively as I'd been trapped. Zale's attack rose into the sky and struck over and over but this time the balls couldn't make it through.

Thalia… Oh, this was interesting but things became even more interesting when he saw another werewolf. This one was a male with silver eyes and a jacket on. He could see the name of a pack on the jacket. Hellhounds. Lucien was familiar with them and judging by one of the symbols on the jacket this was their Beta. He saw the beta pick the girl up, a current of electricity erupting the moment there was skin contact.

Vincent stared at the book “I figured out what Riley is” I turned to her “She is a hellhound, you can check it yourself “ Vincent was still staring at the book, and I decided to look too “Hellhounds carry the punishment of their ancestors past” Cyrus said as he looked at the book In the book, I could see the image of a beast with fire surrounding it. There was a writing below it, which I could not translate, but it seems Vincent and Cyrus understood it So I was a hellhound
